I find it funny, the nerdy brother seems to be getting all the action and you wouldn’t expect it. The words ‘Cute’  and ‘Scream’ were flying everywhere among fan girls at facebook. ‘I haven’t even watch the series yet and already I love this couple,’ was another comment.

Who is excited for this, veteran actor ‘Au’ Thanakorn Posayanon has been added to the Rising Sun series with Nadech Kugimiya and Mario Maurer as Uncle Koji, an important figure in the Onitsuka (Onizuka) yakuza clan and a strong male figure for Takeshi and Ryu, the two main characters in the series. Fans are pleased with the choice of Au as Uncle Koji when producer ‘Ja’ Yossinee Nanakorn posted pictures of Au with Mario and Nadech practicing kendo on her IG account.

I also approve of this choice, he looks the part and has a strong male presence on screen. Thumbs up. 

I love kendo-ware, like they preparing to go off into battle.

Thai fans are little eager or maybe obsessively eager for a Janie Tienposuwan and Dome Pakorn Lum pairing in real life and onscreen since it was announce they would be paired up in a Polypus produced lakorn for Ch3. Both are currently single and their astrological signs/birth date horoscope thing matches, they are compatible as lovers. That is a lot of effort and care. Janie stated she has been occupied with work, she is not closing herself off from men, she is just been busy.

This series is so adorable, I am gonna punch someone in the face–not literally.

He is so drawn to her he doesn’t want to admit it and his two younger brothers make him aware of it–they teased him. Freaking hilarious. What I hated most about Khun Chai Tharatorn was the lack of interaction between the brothers, in the last two installments with Khun Chai Ruj and Khun Chai Puttipat, we get to see improvements in the brotherly love department. They are so funny together, especially the two younger brothers with Khun Chai Puttipat, they are the playboys of the family where he is the conservative doctor. He is so serious and awkward he doesn’t even know when his brothers are teasing him–he plays it off like yeah I don’t like her. She is just my patient when really he is just engrossed by her beauty.

Miss Siam Krong Kaew our nang’ek has been hospitalized for several days because of her self-inflicted injuries, falling off the beauty pageant stage and wheeling herself to a fall. She doesn’t want to be sold off to Khun Pinit. She is trying to buy time at Khun Chai Puttipat’s hospital. He knows it, but doesn’t know the reason behind it.

As Krong Kaew is buying time at the hospital complaining of stomach pains, Khun Chai Puttipat is forced by his grandmother to go on a movie date with Maratree to see the horror flick Mae Nok. He was totally annoyed with it and with Maratree for making a ruckus at the theater. She made it loud and clear that she was with Khun Chai Puttipat, reporters were there, she wanted their date to be in the social gossip column.

Reporters asked them when they are getting  marry, they gave different answers, she said ‘soon’, he said ‘not yet’. She tries to play it off like– oh he is shy about it. Oh honey, he is just not into you. She explained they are gonna get marry because of the agreement between their families. His two older brothers already have partners, the next person in line would be him.

Khun Chai Puttipat:’That is correct, my brothers are lucky they are with the people they love. But as for me, not any time soon because I want to work for the benefit of our nation first. You can never be sure, next year I might go work abroad.’

Say what, Maratree exclaimed. ‘Work abroad. What is this, how come I have never heard about this?’

Like since episode 1, he has been rejected her advances, how many more times can he reject her until she understand they have no chance together. Oh this girl. Shameful and desperate.

He tells her in front of everyone, there is a chance he might go abroad for a few years or longer to further his studies. The rejection.

Before they enter the theater, she confronts him about their impending marriage.

Maratree:’Why did you say that?’

Khun Chai Pat:’Say what?’

Maratree:’Like we have no plans to get marry. When yo do that, I lose face.’

He lets her have it. ‘If I said, we were gonna get marry, it would be more burdensome for you. You know news in the Phranakhon spreads quickly. What if I go work abroad for several years, you are here, what will you do?’

Maratree foolishly answers him that she will wait for him. ‘I will wait for you no matter how long.’

Khun Chai Pat:’You are a girl, if news like this get out, what guy would dare pursue you?’

Maratree:’I don’t want any other guy to pursue me.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Maratree, if two people are going to get marry, they need to get to know each other more than this because the future involves two individuals. You are beautiful and a noble lady, are you going close yourself off for an uncertain future? You never know, I might go abroad and never come back. You might still think childishly and not agree with me, but in the future you will understand my actions are for you.’

Burn.

Alone, Maratree tells herself. ‘Never, I will never accept it. You can only be mine.’–Okay, she is having a nutso nang’rai moment, give her some space. Good lord, help this child.

Khun Chai Pat has a hard time with Maratree being totally obnoxious and clinging to his arm as they are watching the movie–they are getting the look from other moviegoers, this is olden day Thailand, public display of affection is a big no no.

Krong Kaew is getting attacked by serial Beauty Queen rapist Glai Lerk, the son of the woman who is trying to sell Krong Kaew to Khun Pinit. Yes, in this lakorn there is a serial rapist. You read right. He is so gross. He tells his mom what he does too, he brags about it. The thought of this guy is just ew. ‘Yea ma, I snagged that former beauty queen last year in the fields.’–like what. What is wrong with you?

No one is paying attention to Krong Kaew screaming for help because she has been crying wolf all this time with her fake injuries. The hospital personnel just ignore her cries.

Even at the movies, Khun Chai Puttipat thinks of Krong Kaew. When he excuses himself to use the bathroom and phones the hospital he learns that he is needed by her. She was able to escape from Glai Lerk’s clutches and bumps into her other villain Khun Pinit. They are serpents everywhere in this hospital. She complains more about her fake stomach pain and Khun Pinit wants Khun Chai Pat or the best doctor immediately.

Khun Chai Pat notices something strange about Krong Kaew’s guardians, she is terrified of all of them, he asked them to leave the room so that he can examine her.

Alone with Khun Chai Pat and nurse Piangporn, Krong Kaew whines about her stomach pain, and Khun Chai Pat tells her to cut it out and to tell him her symptoms. He wasn’t too pleased. But yet she refuses to be touched or examine and lies she has an infected hernia. Khun Chai Pat and Piangporn are amused by this because mostly men suffer from this.

He implores more about this illness, if she does have it, he should check it out in her crotch region. She refused him saying she is all better now. Hilarious. He tells her he knows she is trying to buy time, she needs to tell him what’s up and stop making up illnesses for him to cure. ‘This is a hospital not a hotel whether you want to be here or not. Are you gonna tell me the truth or should I send you home?’

‘Why are you doing this? Why are you hurting yourself? And also making up illnesses to delay time to stay here. Why?’

Kaew:’Can’t you just recognize that I have reason for not wanting to go home.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Khun Krong Kaew, I am your doctor. If you don’t see me as your doctor, you can consider me as your friend.’

Kaew:’please don’t deceive me with sweetness.’

He threatens to tell everyone she has been lying about her illnesses, she pulls him back begging him not to. Tears.

‘If you don’t trust me, don’t consider me as a friend, don’t tell me the truth. I have no reason to help you anymore. I could spend my time helping other patients but I have to waste my time with this nonsense.’

She apologizes to him with tears.

Khun Chai Pat:’Your tears can work with others but not me. All I want is the truth. Save your tears for Khun Chai Pinit.’–Ouch.

Kaew:’Why do you say that?’

Khun Chai Pat:’You know well, when he sends people to guard you, pays all your bill, what can it be? When you fake sickness and refuse to go home, it’s just to raise your value to Khun Pinit.’

She can’t believe he is saying all of this.
‘That is right, you are a dignified doctor. As for me, I am just a lowly beauty queen who eagerly flaunts her body to entice older men in exchange for money. If you think I am like that, then just send me off to him.’

Ahhh…see. She has her reasoning. Oh he gets it now.

‘You are like this because you are afraid to be sent off to him.’

She nods yes with tears. ‘I came to compete to win money to care for my father. I didn’t think I was going to be sold off. The world has evolved, I didn’t think people still do this.’

She begs and wais him. ‘Please help me.’

He takes her hand and tells her she doesn’t have to wai him. ‘If you don’t want to go with those people, you don’t have to. I will try to help you escape them.’

Kaew takes his hand and puts it on her face. Oh.

‘Khun Chai ka, whatever you need, you can ask me any time.’–so cute.

Khun Chai Pat lies to Khun Pinit that Krong Kaew has appendicitis and needs immediate surgery. Dr.Yotsawin showed him how it is done. It’s gonna be sewn back up like a centipede.

Khun Pinit’s response to all of this is so gross, he is more concern about the centipede scarring that will be on her stomach. It will ruin his mood. Ew. Like what is wrong with you.

Khun Chai Pat and Dr.Yotsawin told him no will see it, Khun Pinit mistakenly said ‘why wouldn’t they see it.’–meaning he would see it. Ew. No one is perfect buddy.

Everyone leaves, Khun Chai Pat learns more about Krong Kaew plight. She knows no one in the city, her father is ill, they have no phone.

‘Don’t worry ka, I won’t bother you anymore. Just to avoid those people for a day, it’s good enough. I promise you won’t have to lie for me anymore.’

When he relayed what happened to his two younger brothers, they teased him about it.

Youngest brother Khun Chai Ronnapee: ‘Khun Krong Kaew has stomach pains, I have to go visit her.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Hey! She is not really ill. She faked it.’

Khun Chai Lek playfully:’She faked it so that she can be close to you longer at the hospital huh? Wow, it’s like a novel.’

Khun Chai Pat tells his younger to hush up: ‘stop it right now, Chai Lek.’

Khun Chai Ronnapee points at his brother’s ears. ‘Oi, look at Pee Chai Pat’s ears, they are all red, like this the case has evidence’–Haha.

Khun Chai Pat stands up:’It’s not like that! Kaew did this because she doesn’t want to be Khun Pinit’s mistress.’

Khun Chai Ronnapee:’He is scary rival…however, I don’t think you should be scared, we are never scared of anyone.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Chai Pee, I am no one’s rival…Kaew has removed me from her issue too.’

Khun Chai Lek continues to tease his brother. ‘Oh I understand, though she is having a hard time escaping Khun Pinit, she is still worried about you.’

Khun Chai Pat:’What?’

Khun Chai Ronnapee:’That is right Pee Chai Lek, the woman knows that man has a lot of power and influence. She is trying to save herself so it doesn’t affect Pee Chai Pat because she wants to protect him.’

Khun Chai Pat:’That’s crazy. She doesn’t think of me that way and I don’t think of her like that either.’

Oh really. His brothers remind him though he claims he doesn’t think about Kaew very much, he has totally forgotten about Maratree and how he ditched her at the movie theater. Opps. “You went to watch a movie with Nong Maratree, but you haven’t said anything about her, only about Kaew.’ Ha.

At the hospital Kaew receives a phone call from her father, he wants her to come home. She refuses saying she won and needs to perform her beauty queen duties. She is alright. He doesn’t need to come because he is ill. As they are talking, he has a seizure and passes out.

Kaew wants to leave to go see her father. Nurse Piangporn tells her she can’t unless she gets an approval from Khun Chai Pat. Conveniently he comes and signs her discharge papers.

She tells him she MUST leave quickly but doesn’t tell him a reason.

Khun Chai Pat:’What is your necessary need to leave?’

Kaew:”Khun Chai ka, what do you really want. At first, you wanted me to leave, I wanted to stay but you wanted a reason why. I have told you it because of that minister. But now I am asking to leave, it’s what you want, what more do you want?’

Khun Chai Pat:’Then what is it, why is it a big secret?’

Kaew:’I don’t want to tell anyone to know. Can you understand me, sometimes people have issues other people don’t need to know about.’

Khun Chai Pa:’Other people? I am the other people am I right?’

Hurt he signs her release forms.

As he walking out with nurse Piangporn, she asked him why he came to the hospital, no one called for him, it just seems like he only came to the hospital to sign Kaew’s release papers. Oh like it’s fate. He sensed that he needed her help. Souls connected.

Ing-On and her two children serial rapist Glai-lerk and Non are in the premises to guard Kaew and Bai Bua(the pimp pageant organizer) is there too looking for Kaew. These people are hungry for money, hoping to make Kaew their meal ticket.

Kaew is able to flee the hospital’s premise without detection, she runs into more problems when she tries to hitch a ride with a rickshaw driver with no money. It’s like late at night, the train station is closed. She is asking to be dragged away into a dark alley. Luckily Khun Chai Pat spots her and sternly tells her to come with him. He will drive her to her destination. This is a good scene for newcomer James Jirayu, the sound of his voice, you can tell he is angry with her out of concern for her safety. Krong Kaew is a country girl, kinda naive, has no real experiences in life. She is 19 years old. She does’t even know how dangerous her situation is.

Khun Chai Pat:’You have to leave NOW, everyone is at the hospital.’

Kaew:’I don’t want to disturb you.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Why? Because I am…other people?’

Kaew:’No, I don’t want to cause problems for you.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Are you not scared? Kaew, what if I was your friend. Will you accept the help of a friend.’

Kaew:’But you are not my friend. You are in a different class level than me. I don’t dare.’

Khun Chai Pat:’How long are you going divide me into my class level? Until your guardians find you? Come get in the car.’

Using force. Squeeze pillow.

In the car, she tells him they have to go to Ayutthaya, a few hours away. She doesn’t want to burden him with her problems.

Khun Chai Pat:’You don’t want to bother me? How are you gonna get to Ayutthaya, you have no money, it’s late at night. You have no friends or family. Don’t be considerate without sense. Just think of it as me driving you around for fun, to relax. What’s there in Ayutthaya? Why are you in a rush to get there?’

She doesn’t answer him. Without knowing it, he tells her she is a selfish pretty girl.

Khun Chai Pat:’You really have a self-centered personality. Whatever you want, you must have. If you said right now, you must have it right now. You don’t care about others, you don’t fear danger. It is fitting you are a beauty queen. Beautiful girls are all like this right?’

Oh. Awkward.

At the gas station, Khun Chai Pat learns the reason behind her haste. She is concern about her father.

‘I don’t know what happened to my father. We were talking fine on the phone this evening then he suddenly he collapsed and I heard the mayor say my father suffered a seizure.’

The major probably took him to the hospital.

Khun Chai Pat:’Why don’t you bring him to Bangkok for medical care?’

Kaew:’I don’t have money. After his surgery, there will be more expenses. Our household is poor that is why I had to compete for Miss Siam.’

Khun Chai Pat:’So what you said on stage was true?’

Kaew:’So you thought I made it all up? That’s right, to you I am just a woman who wants to show her thighs, make up sad stories to get pity from the judges to get the crown and sell my body for highest value to tan (Khun Pinit). I can only be this.’

Khun Chai Pat:’I am sorry, I didn’t mean to say that.’

Kaew:’You don’t need to pay attention to me, the rank of a beauty queen is just an illusion. The truth is I am just the daughter of a janitor, I can’t compare with you, Khun Chai Puttipat of the Jutathep dynasty. When you insulted me, it was appropriate. Thank you for emphasizing my reality so that I won’t forget.’–Ouch.

Khun Chai Pat:’I didn’t mean to insult you.’

Kaew:’It is me who has to apologize to you for tainting your dignity. The best thing for you is to not take me there, I don’t want to bother you.’–she is good. I like her.

She walks away from him and he follows her like a puppy dog. ‘I am sorry. Please forgive me.’ He pleads with her. Aww. The music starts playing too.

They get to the country hospital, Kaew is hysterical seeing her father and Khun Chai Pat decides to take her father as one of his patients. Kaew, concerned about her father decides to wait for him in the waiting room till the next day. Khun Chai Pat decides to seat next to her on the waiting room bench. He compliments her on bravery, she is injured but did not complain throughout their journey.

Kaew:’Please don’t be concern about me. I can be here on my own.’

Khun Chai Pat:’You used to me to drive you here. When I have no use, you are sending me off.’

Kaew:’It’s not like that.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Then let me sit with you.’

Kaew:’But how can you seat here. The bench is hard, it’s not comfortable to seat on. You will be tired to death. Also, the mosquitoes will bite you.’

Khun Chai Pat:’You are a woman, you can do it. I am a man, I should be able to do it too.’

Awww…We all know it is an excuse to get close to her.

Not too long, she falls asleep on his shoulders and then lap. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Yea, Khun Chai Pat, you like that don’t you.

If she was more of an experience young woman, she would know Khun Chai Puttipat is completely smitten with her. She is young and naive and not seeing the signs. Everyone around them are aware of his feelings for her, everyone in their social circle finds this amusing. They all know except her.

He let her sleep on his lap until morning, she woke up and apologized to him and he was fine with it.It’s not a burden, it wasn’t uncomfortable, she doesn’t need to worry about him. That’s love.

He did however suffered leg cramp from sitting all night and letting her have his leg as a pillow. As he fell back from the leg cramp, he pulled her down to the bench too. They had a moment where they locked eyes.

He consoles her when her father suffers another seizure. Her father’s condition is pretty distressing, they can’t do anything at the moment, they can’t transfer him to another hospital.

Khun Chai Pat doesn’t want Kaew to stay in Ayutthaya out of fear for her safety. Yes, her father is here but he is ill.

‘Have you forgotten, who the people you are trying to escape from are. Whatever they want or whoever they want, they must have. I think they are searching  for you everywhere.’

Kaew:’But why should I go back to the city, shouldn’t I say here far away from them?’

Khun Chai Pat:’Being far away doesn’t mean anything, Khun Pinit has ears and eyes all over the country. Just one Miss Siam, you don’t think he can’t find her? You alone, do you think you can take care of yourself? Now consider you father, it will be bothersome for him too.’

Kaew:’But I don’t want to leave him anymore. I want to stay with my father.’

Khun Chai Pat:’You have to worry about yourself first. When your father is healthy enough, you can transfer him to the city, I will take care of him. First off, you need to be safe.’

Kaew in tears:’Why are you so good to me?’

He takes her hand and leads her to the bench: ‘If your friend is having a hard time, would you help them. I consider you a friend, if you were in trouble, do you want me to do nothing? Kaew, please believe me, trust me, I promise to stay by your side I won’t let you suffer alone. First and foremost, I need to find a safe place for you.’

He takes her to Katesara and Professor Chinakorn’s house to stay. He tells them about Krong Kaew’s ordeal with Khun Pinit, they agree to be Krong Kaew’s guardian for the time being.

Katesara heard rumors that if Khun Pinit wants someone, they can’t escape him. Oh no.

Khun Chai Pat:’Other than her father who is in the hospital, Kaew is alone. Kaew doesn’t have any relatives, I was worried about her safety so I brought her here. I thought you would sympathized and have pity and would help her out.’

Katesara and Professor agrees to take her in and Kaew knelt down to give her a respectable wai.

As Katesara leads Kaew upstairs to wash her face, Professor Chinakorn asked Khun Chai Pat what they should do about Maratree. Khun Chai Pat tells him to not say anything to her about Kaew being at his house. Professor Chinakorn laughs and said, ‘I never thought you would have this day.’–meaning he can’t believe conservative Khun Chai Pat would have  a moment in his life where he is juggling two women. HA.

Khun Chai Pat denies it. ‘It’s not like that.’–haha.

At the hospital, he faces the evil people who demand to know the whereabouts of Kaew. He told them, she went home. ‘There is nothing wrong with the patient, she is healed, why would I let her stay in the hospital for?’

They accused him of helping Kaew escape. He doesn’t deny it. ‘I am a doctor, if anyone is in trouble, I will openly help them out without hiding it.’

Ing-On:’I hope everything you have done  is good and will not disgrace the Jutathep’s name, for example secretly dating a beauty queen which is medically unethical between a patient and a doctor.’

He lets them have it. ‘Lets just say, everything I have done is good and correct. What about you guys, can you dare say that too?’

Glai-Lerk:’When you say that, it means you want to start something.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Who is the one looking for trouble?’

Glai-Lerk is annoyed Khun Chai Pat is throwing it back at him, he wants to fight Khun Chai Pat but his mother Ing-On and sister Nan (Non) holds him back. They are a disgusting trio.

The trio leaves when Maratree interrupts them. She wants to know why they are here when Krong Kaew has been discharged. Khun Chai Pat lies to her he doesn’t know. She doesn’t accept his answer. She already knows the whole story, she is getting clues from gossip with the other nurses how Kaew was released by Khun Chai Pat and then he disappeared the next day. She is getting an inkling they might have been together when he disappeared too.

Maratree confronts Khun Chai Pat. ‘I want to know one thing, where did you disappear to? You didn’t say goodbye, you didn’t tell anyone beforehand. You have never done that before. What emergency did you have?’

Oy this girl. I wouldn’t be this pathetic but then again I would marry for love not money. She doesn’t love Khun Chai Pat, she wants what he can give her–wealth, a health clinic, MANY new pairs of shoes. His family is loaded.

Khun Chai Pat:’A personal appointment, I don’t need to tell anyone. You should go handle your own personal responsibility nong Maratree.’–Ouch. He is so cold towards her–ALL THE TIME.  Yet she is relentless.

Professor Chinakorn is worried about his wife Katesara being scared of Khun Pinit, they are putting themselves endanger by helping Krong Kaew. Katesara tells her husband she is not scared, they are doing the right thing, she can’t let an injured bunny die in front of her. Professor Chinakorn is proud of his wife for being brave and he isn’t scared either. Love this couple.

Kaew is in the news for being missing beauty queen. She was too busy trying to escape Khun Pinit she did not contact the pageant committee. If she doesn’t contact them, she might lose her title and the prizes.

She wants the prize money and wants to keep her crown, she decides to phone the Pageant committee people. Ing-On and her kids happened to be there when she called. Kaew is told she needs to make an appearance to the Orphan children charity event tomorrow or else the pageant organizers will be fine and the orphanage will not get their donation.

Though she was threatened by Ying-On on the phone, Kaew feels compel to go to the event to help the orphaned children. She pleads with Professor Chinakorn and Katesara to help her out.

Glai-lerk wants a piece of Krong Kaew when they capture her. ‘Mom, when Krong Kaew makes an appearance, can I drag her to the forest to assault her to soften her up?’—WHAT. Oy. SIGHS.

Nan, his younger sister, who is a girl, doesn’t see anything wrong with this arrangement. ‘If you are going to drag her into the forest, let me slap her first.’–WHAT. Looks down and shakes head. These people have no morals.

Nan blames Kaew for causing trouble in her life. What? You are trying to sell her off to an old man. Ing-On wants her children to get involve, they need to get organize to capture Krong Kaew. Glai-lerk will get paid for this job, Nan too.

This is not good but at least she has forbid her son from touching Krong Kaew.

First he wast confronted by Ing-On and her two devil spawns, then the confrontation with Maratree, dude is not having a good day. Now Khun Pinit wants a piece of him too.

Khun Pinit wants to know why Khun Chai Pat has discharged Krong Kaew without his knowledge. He is paying for her hospital fees,  he should be considered as her guardian. Khun Chai Pat argues, she should be her own guardian.

Khun Pinit raised his voice at Khun Chai Pat:’Don’t pretend you don’t know.’

Khun Chai Pat:’What am I suppose to know?’–oh he is playing dumb.

Khun Pinit:’You have been a doctor for a long time. Your brothers all have good jobs. You know the rules of society but you choose to disrespect the traditions of the people of this nation.’–What?

Khun Chai Pat:’I am a doctor. I have morals and uphold the ethics held by all doctors. We care for the happiness of our patients. Though some might disagree, everything I have done follows this foundation.’

Khun Pinit threatens him. ‘If you are really doing this for the patient. You should know, there will be more patients because doctors, nurses, medical equipment are extremely lacking…apart from the brain research fund I had given, I was considering giving money to develop this hospital from every side…But now I am not so sure if the doctors here are doing things for the benefits of the patient or not. You should give me a reason why I should continue to support this hospital.’

Khun Chai Pat doesn’t know how to answer him. Khun Pinit is just err…

Khun Pinit’s mood changes when he learns Krong Kaew will be making an appearance at the Orphan Thai charity event.

This is funny, they have no plan really. Katesara tried to reach Khun Chai Pat at the hospital to no avail, she is still allowing Kaew to go to the charity event. They are putting her at risk and they don’t even know it. At the event, Professor Chinakorn’s nerdy friends will be Krong Kaew’s bodyguards. When his wife Katesara saw them, she let out a sigh and nicely told her husband ‘they look respectable.’.

Firstly this is hilarious, you have to wonder how Professor Chinakorn’s nerdy friends are gonna fend off Glai-Lerk, the serial rapist and his thug friends from Kaew. It’s not a good match. Katesara knows it, her husband is too naive to realize the error in his recruitment.

I laughed.

Kaew is ordered to stay near Professor’s Chinakorn’s friends, avoid being alone, when the event is over, she needs to leave immediately.

Kaew enters the event, Glai-Lerk and his thug friends eye her right away. She made a beautiful entrance. Kaew keeps her cool around Ing-On and her two children and is pleased when she doesn’t see Khun Pinit at the event.

The event turns sour when Khun Pinit makes an appearance, Kaew is terrified when she sees him. She is up on stage modeling crafts made by the kids for auction. Each item, Khun Pinit would give the highest bidding. Because he is the highest bidder, Kaew must present him with the item up on stage. She hands him the item, he takes her hand. ‘You are very beautiful, truly beautiful, the most beautiful.’

She is creeped out by him. When it was some for pictures, she distance herself from Khun Pinit by posing with the orphaned kids instead of with him.

She walked over to the reporters for an interview when they both got off the stage. When Ing-On and her daughter Nan made their way to her, she made apparent to the reporters Khun Ing-On was her sponsor the beauty pageant.

Khun Chinakorn’s friends make their way to Kaew and they acted as her shield for the escape.

But it doesn’t really work when they are stopped by Glai-Lerk and his  thug friends. They were out-matched and Kaew had to find ways to escape on her own. Eventually she is helped by Dr. Yotsawin who happened to be at theorphanage examining young patients.

Khun Chai Pat makes his way to the event but is frustrated when he can’t find Kaew.

He mumbles to himself Kaew’s name and his man servant Somboon asked, ‘do you want a glass of water?’

Kaew means glass.

Khun Chai Pat was not in the mood today, he was so annoyed. Like what?

Kaew’s savior for the day Dr.Yotsawin meets her other saviors Professor Chinakorn and his wife Katesara. At first Dr.Yotsawin asked if Professor Chinakorn is Kaew’s boyfriend, she answered no, she is the husband of her guardian Khun Katesara.

Khun Pinit is extremely upset with Ing-On for allowing Krong Kaew to escape again. He is giving her a second chance but in exchange for Nan, Ing-On’s daughter. So gross. He is messed up. He has a beautiful wife in Khun Ying Dara and several mistresses living at his home but yet he wants more. Someone needs sex addiction therapy.Shivers.

Khun Chai Pat is totally upset with Kaew for making an appearance at the charity event. He has been worried sick about her.  He tells her he is not mad just overly worried. ‘Do you know how worried I was when I realized you weren’t at the event anymore.’

Katesara can’t hold back her smile when he said this, she knows. Everyone knows Khun Chai Pat has feelings for Kaew, except Kaew.

Kaew apologizes to him. ‘I won’t do this again.’

When he sees Dr.Yotsawin there too and was the person who helped Kaew escape today, Khun Chai Pat is taken back by Dr.Yotsawin’s presence, he leaves abruptly. So Funny. Can you not be more obvious.

Kaew is totally perplexed by Khun Chai Pat’s reaction, she follows him outside.

‘What’s wrong ka?’

Khun Chai Pat:’Forget about it. Go enjoy your dinner.’

‘Are you upset with me? If you are upset or displeased with me, please tell me.’

Khun Chai Pat:’I don’t understand you. I have done everything to protect you from danger. I couldn’t concentrate on work because I was worried about you. But you have done everything to risk danger from going to the event from….’

‘What issue?’

Khun Chai Pat:’Kaew, I find this the safest place for you, I don’t want others to know you are hiding here. It’s dangerous for you.’

‘But Dr.Yotsawin is your friend, he seems like a good guy, trustworthy, am I right?’

Khun Chai Pat:’True, you can trust Dr. Yotsawin.’

‘In that case why are you upset with me?’–so funny. So clueless. Because he is jealous. He wants to be your main protector. Ha.

Khun Chai Pat is completely frustrated and told her to forget about it. Oh poor guy.

‘I think regarding Dr.Yotsawin, it is a good thing. From now on, when I need help, I don’t always have to bother you. You don’t have to be tired because of me very much.’

Not a good thing to say at this moment.

Khun Chai Pat:’Kaew, you think you are very bothersome to me. Then from now on, I won’t come here anymore so you won’t feel offensive.’

‘Khun Chai…Khun Chai you are misunderstanding me ka. You are my benefactor. You have done  a lot for me, I don’t even know how to repay you back. I am trying not to lead more problems to you.’

Khun Chai Pat:’A benefactor, I have been given this title since I was born. Can I ask you for one thing, don’t stress my social status. I want to be your friend. I want to be a normal person suitable for you…this is the only thing I ask of you. Can you give me this?’–He is so blunt, she does’t even realize it.

He leaves her.

He lets out his frustration on the piano. His brothers notices the chaotic music, youngest brother Khun Chai Ronnapee thinks it sounds chaotic, confusing, back and forth like a person in love. Oldest brother Khun Chai Tharatorn turns to the younger brother and playfully asked, ‘a person like you knows about love?’

Of course he does.

Khun Chai Tharatorn feels pity for his younger brother. ‘I pity Chai Pat. He is a hermit with a strict personality. He spends his days in the surgery room, he has no experience in expressing his feelings…now he is in love.’

Khun Chai Pee:’It should be like this. He should start having feelings….from now on, when he is doing surgery for the brain, liver, kidney of a patient, he will find it lovely. His operation room will be the color of pink.’ Okay.

Khun Chai Tharatorn:’When you say this, I can’t wait until you fall in love.’

Maratree and her father ratted  Khun Chai Pat out to his grandmother and great-aunt On that he has been having an relationship with a lowly beauty queen. He doesn’t deny it. They are friends, his great-aunt On is not having any of this. They are from different social classes. They can’t be friends. After that, he showed no emotion but rather gave Maratree a stone cold stare. Scary. With Kaew, he is never like this–he is gentle and kind. With Maratree, he is cold and stiff.

His grandmother and great Aunt asked him to end his relationship with Krong Kaew and focus more on Maratree. There is a charity ball for the military coming up and he must take Maratree as his guest. His brothers watched him from the doorway with pity.

Khun Chai Pee:’I don’t think he is gonna make. I really pity him.’

Khun Chai Lek joked:’Then you should marry Khun Maratree in his place.’

Khun Chai Pee:’You marry her. You are older than me and is next in line to take responsibility.’—haha.

Khun Chai Lek shakes his head, ‘hell no’.

Khun Chai Pat was struggling today to contain his emotions, his jealousy towards Dr.Yotsawn. His youngest brother Khun Chai Pee noted he has never seen his brother Khun Chai Pat be this anxious in his entire life. Khun Chai Pat has always been the calm and collected one,  the appearance of Krong Kaew completely transformed him overnight. His brothers are amused by it. His younger brothers are awesome, helping him out in every turn from distracting Maratree to helping Kaew though they don’t know what the deal is with her and Khun Pinit. They are like the best brothers a guy can have.

When I download the raw video, I will add more details to this post. The lakorn just finished airing a  2 hours ago.

She has a charity ball to attend and she doesn’t know how to dance, Khun Katesara and her adorable husband Professor Chinakorn are teaching Krong Kaew to do ballroom dancing. Khun Chai Pat makes an appearance and wants to be part of the lesson too as her dance teacher. He accidentally injured her foot so they had to get medicine for it. She feels very uncomfortable with him massaging her foot. He doesn’t care, he is a doctor and he gets to touch her. LOL.

It’s amusing, this would be their first love. Kaew is 19 years old and Khun Chai Pat is in his 30′s, yet both are inexperience in love and interacting with the opposite sex. For their first of everything, they are doing okay.

Back to the dancing lessons, Chinakorn and Khun Katesara watched the young couple dance and noted they seem like a fairy tale couple in a novel. They find this to be the most romantic and sweetest thing.

Khun Chai Pat doesn’t make an appearance the next day though he promised to come teach her more dancing. Kaew is disappointed. Khun Chai Pat is forced by his grandmother and great Aunt On to come straight home from the hospital to teach Maratree how to ballroom dance.

Khun Chai Lek asked Khun Chai Pee why Maratree needs lesson when clearly she can dance well. Khun Chai Pee answered, their grandmother wants to create a ‘spark’ with the physical contact of dancing. Khun Chai Lek doesn’t think it’s gonna work.

Dr.Yotsawin makes a surprise appearance to the house and tells them that Khun Chai Pat was forced by his grandmother to teach Khun Maratree, Chai Pat’s fiancee how to dance. Tonight he will be Krong Kaew’s dance partner. Dr.Yotsawin is a good guy but clearly Kaew has no feelings for him. Their dance is emotionless.

Good grief woman, Maratree lies to everyone she made the kanom (sweets, appetizers), really she brought it from her sister Katesara and they were made by Krong Kaew. The guys know she is lying, they tasted this before. It has a certain flavor to it. Really? It wasn’t made by Khun Katesara they asked her.

After the meal with Khun Chai Pat’s family, Maratree goes to her sister house to ask for more sweets, different types in different shapes for next time. Khun Chai Pat seems to like it a lot, he ate more of it than the actual meal. Kaew overhears this and is pleased with herself. The man she loves enjoys her cooking. Maratree brags to her sister about Khun Chai Pat and how he is going to take her to the ball and how his grandmother will loan her several jewelry set for the event. Barf.

Kaew is hurt by this.

The next day when he visits, she gives him the cold shoulder and snide remakes.

They argue about something, he is hurt she is being cold with him, she is hurt about the Maratree situation. There is a lot of resentment there. 

The Jutathep men have different mothers. Khun Chai Pat is half-Chinese and his grandfather owns a major department store called Yokfah (Heavenly Jade). Khun Chai Pat goes to see his grandfather to ask for a favor, he wants to buy Krong Kaew a dance and other accessories. How sweet.

The night of the ball, Maratree is disappointed when she is picked up by Khun Chai Pee, she expected Khun Chai Pat but he has to perform a surgery.

After the surgery, Dr. Yotsawin is in a haste to leave  and doesn’t give Khun Chai Pat a reason.

Pimpster Ing-On and her serial rapist son Glai-Lerk aren’t invited to the ball because they have been blacklisted by Bai Bua but they have something up their sleeves.

Immediately when he arrives at the ball, Khun Chai Pat goes on the hunt for Kaew.

Khun Chai Pee follows his worried brother around and notes that he has never seen Khun Chai Pat be this anxious in his entire life. What is up, Khun Chai pat asked his youngest brother it doesn’t take that long to get to the ball right, like 15 minutes at most 30 minutes. Why isn’t she here? He wondered.

To the surprised of everyone, Krong Kaew arrives with Dr.Yotsawin.

Krong Kaew sits with the host of the ball and is eyed like a hawk by Khun Pinit and longingly by Khun Chai Pat.

Khun Chai Pat takes the opportunity to confront Dr.Yotsawin when Kaew goes up on stage on why he took so long to get here and why did he bring Krong Kaew to the ball. Dr.Yotsawin cheerfully tells him, he was asked by Khun Katesara and he got lost on the way here.

Khun Chai Pat asked him why did he get lost, Dr.Yotsawin answered no one wants to get lost they just do. It’s funny. When it comes to Kaew, Khun Chai Pat is transformed into an irrational person. Dr.Yotsawin doesn’t even know what’s going on. Khun Chai Pat tells Dr.Yotsawin to not do this next time–getting lost. It can’t be helped.

Collecting her prize for winning Miss Siam, Khun Ying Dara asked Kaew for one thing for Kaew to be the first to honor the dignity of a beauty queen. Whatever, I think she needs to confront her husband and tell him to stop having other mistresses, keep his hands to himself and pants zipped up.

After the prizes were handed out, it was time for the first dance between Khun Pinit and the most beautiful woman in Thailand, who is Miss Siam. Up on stage, Kaew is shivering in fear, she doesn’t want to dance with Khun Pinit. With the fast thinking by Khun Chai Pee, who walked over to Khun Ying Dara and asked her out to the dance floor to face her husband, the announcer had to say the most beautiful woman is Khun Pinit’s wife, Khun Ying Dara and they lead the first dance for the charity event.

Maratree manipulates Khun Chai Pat out to the dance floor by saying Kaew and Dr.Yotsawin look good together and they want to be the next couple out on the dance floor. Khun Chai Pat is in competition mode, he leads Maratree out on the dance floor as the second couple, followed by Kaew and Dr.Yotsawin.

While dancing,  Khun Pinit is able to snag Kaew for a dance. Everyone is worried especially Khun Chai Pat and Dr. Yotsawin, they are worried for her safety.

The next song is faster, Kaew tells Khun Pinit, she doesn’t know how to dance to this song. They should stop. He takes this opportunity to take Kaew outside for a stroll and chat.

He tries to negotiate with Kaew about their relationship, whatever she wants, he will give it to her if they further their relationship. Whatever she wants, a house, a ring, she can have it all. She is grossed out by him and tells him she is not here to sell her body. Plus, he is married.

Khun Pinit explains a man of power does not need to worry about the opinions of others, it’s different for men with money and power. They can have this type of relationship without the criticism of others.

Kaew doesn’t care about the opinions of others, she cares about his wife, her feelings about being cheated on. ‘It is the most painful thing for a woman when her husband cheats on her.’

Kaew wants to get away and Khun Chai Pat watches them from a distance.

Dr.Yotsawin distracts Khun Pinit with his other mistresses to help Kaew get away from this clutches. Good man.

Kaew runs into Khun Chai Pat and they have another lovers’ spat. Khun Chai Pat accuses Kaew of not wanting to dance with him. He is no use to her anymore so she has forgotten him.

But it ends well, he takes her back to the ball for a dance.

By the end of the episode, I think Dr.Yotsawin will know what’s up with Kaew and Khun Chai Pat.

She said it would be ‘narak (sweet and cute)’. I have to say I am rather disappointed in the plot line for Janie Tienposuwan and Dome Pakorn Lam’s new lakorn ‘Sanaeha Sanya Kaen (Love promise grudge)’ from Polyplus productions. I wanted a romantic comedy not a revenge series centering around a misunderstanding over the death of a woman who Dome loved. Janie in the series will be playing a nurse- described as lovely and sweet. She is wrongly suspected as the cause of the death of Dome’s girlfriend,  so out of revenge he hires her as his personal nurse to his home and taunts her. Maybe taunt is a strong word. Playfully bullies her?

Because of scheduling, Janie appeared without Dome for the fitting. ‘Gubgib’ Sumontip Leuangthai is in this series too.

It’s like I am a drug addict and the series ‘Khun Chai Puttipat’ is my crack–I can’t get enough of it and most likely I will suffer from withdraw symptoms when the lakorn ends this Friday May 24, 2013. It has been a long time since I have been MAJORLY obsess with a show, since the Korean series ‘Coffee Prince’–that was difficult since I had to reply on subtitles. With this, I can get all the spoilers I want, watch it live, it’s pretty satisfying getting a quick fix as much as I want.

This lakorn transcends beyond James Jirayu, people seem to think the star of the series carries the show–to a certain extent it does but there has to be a good story executed well to make people cling emotionally to it. I think Khun Chai Puttipat is one of those rare gems for lakorns, it does have its flaws but I can overlook them because of the story and the chemistry of the cast. There is no weak characters–they embody what they are playing from the villains you hate to the good guy characters you love. It’s well-acted. I applaud the producers who chose their actors and actresses well.

It’s Sunday May 19, 2013 and I have watched all the episodes of Khun Chai Puttipat that aired this weekend from episode 7-9, I think episode 7 was the weakness and it only went uphill from there. It got better and better. I just didn’t want it to end. Because each prime time lakorn is almost 2hrs long, when you are doing summaries, you want it to end.

Fighting for her well-being, Krong Kaew attacks Khun Chai Pat without knowing it. He carries her to his car.

‘It’s me, look at me, Kaew! Those people were trying to kidnap for Khun Pinit.’

She looks up and sees him and his two younger brothers. ‘You came to help me.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Right now, you are safe.’

The brothers advised Khun Chai Pat to take Krong Kaew into hiding, Khun Pinit is becoming more ruthless, he won’t stop until he has Krong Kaew, they must flee.

Khun Chai Pat:’Will you go with me?’

He puts one of her shoes on for her:’I found this and I knew you were in danger.’

The brothers watched their hermit older brother with a smile, like fangirls. Aw.

Khun Chai Pat:’We must quickly leave here.’

She lets out one tear drop and the brothers are like awwing in the background with smiles. Off they went off in his car.

Krong Kaew:’I have cause you trouble again.’

Khun Chai Pat with a smile:’Who says that, you are helping me instead. Since I become a doctor I have never taken off not even a day. No one could ever remove me from the operation room until you Kaew.’

Kaew changes the subject:’The road is really dark.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Are you afraid?’

Kaew:’I am scared.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Scared of the dark road or are you scared of me?’

Kaew looks at him with a big smile:’I am scared of you ka. I am afraid you would abandon me in the middle of the road. I would definitely die.’

At Khun Pinit’s home, he goes on a rampage on Bai Bua for failing again. They don’t know where Kaew went or with who.

He takes her to his family vacation home in Hua Hin. He drove all night and it’s morning. She is asleep in the car, she removes her hair for her. Fangirl moment!

When she wakes up, he quickly removes his hands. Dork.

‘Was I asleep for a long time? Why didn’t you wake me up.’

Khun Chai Pat:’I saw you sleeping well, I didn’t want to wake you up.’

She hears the slashing sound of the ocean tides and asked Khun Chai Pat what is that noise. He tells her it’s the ocean and her eyes lite up. ‘I didn’t tell you yet. This is Hua Hin and the ocean is just in the front of the house.’

She runs to the beach like an overly excited child seeing the ocean for the first time. ‘It’s the ocean,’ she repeats. ‘It’s really the ocean.’

She is amazed by how wide it is, like how everyone has told her. This is beyond what she excepted and leaps up and down. She takes off her shoes and tells Khun Chai Pat she is going to play in the ocean. She invites him to come along too. He does. If his brothers saw this, they would be greatly surprised. She is getting him to do things he would NEVER do.

She taste the ocean water and tells Khun Chai Pat:’It’s really salty.’

He is amused by this, he has never said her this happy before.  ’You are more happy than when you won Miss Siam.’

Kaew chuckles:’Don’t make tease me ka.’

She notices her wet evening gown: ‘oh no, I have dirtied the evening gown you brought for me.’

‘If it is dirty, you can still wash it.’

She notices his specs, she notices dust. She took them off, blows away the dust, and placed them back on his eyes. He doesn’t move while she does this, like he is in a love trance.

They stare each other for a moment, or two, or three.

At the same time, his grandmother and great aunt On is reading the newspaper getting whiff of his night with the beauty queen at the ball. The situation is worsen by the appearance of Maratree who is livid with Khun Chai Pat. The grandmother and great aunt want to talk to Khun Chai Pat but he is no where to be seen.

Great Aunt On is not amuse, Grandmother Iat thinks they should be rational in this situation, he might a good reason for not returning home. They can’t judge before they know the truth.

The two lovebirds are interrupted by a man pointing a shotgun at them. ‘Who are you people? If you don’t make it clear, I will shoot you.’

It’s the housekeeper, it’s been a long time since Khun Chai Pat came to his family’s Hua Hin vacation house.

He notices Krong Kaew, she looks familiar, Khun Chai Pat tells him she is Miss Siam but he should not tell anyone.  ’Don’t tell anyone here, Miss Krong Kaew wants her privacy.’

Khun Pinit is fed lies by Ing-On her her two evil children Nan and Glai-Lerk–they lie that Khun Chai Pat has taken Krong Kaew against her will. Gr!

Khun Chai Pat wakes up to find Kaew cooking, she is making seafood porridge. The housekeeper and his wife finds them adorable and notes how Khun Chai Pat is a gentleman. They didn’t sleep in the same room together. The housekeeper tells his wife if this was him, he would not let this opportunity pass.

His wife:’You are so perverted, he is a gentleman, a son with heritage and pedigree. Not like you, acting like a  criminal and taking me beforehand (before marriage) and then asking my parents for my hand in marriage afterwards, am I right?’

The housekeeper tells his wife, times have change, people don’t care anymore. They sleep together even though they are not engage or married.

His wife:’Err! If he does that, he wouldn’t be a Jutathep gentleman.’

After the meal, they walk into the town.

On the beach:

Khun Chai Pat:’Can you say here for a few days?’

Kaew:’In the end, I brought trouble to you again.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Who said that? Me and my brothers involves ourselves instead.’

Kaew:’Like this, will he do anything to you guys?’

Khun Chai Pat:’Kaew, my family is not penniless na, He is not the only great person in this county. He used a criminal method with you. If we did not thing, then we are like crowds, shameful, not befitting of a man.’

Kaew:’But I am scared.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Don’t be scared, I will protect you.’

Kaew:’I am not scared for myself, I am scared on your behalf. He is a big great man with enormous power na ka. ‘

Khun Chai Pat:’If good people are scared of evil people, let them do what they want, this would could not go on Kaew.’

Kaew:’But you shouldn’t underestimate him na ka.’

Khun Chai Pat:’ I am not stupid Kaew. Whatever I do, I have to evaluate it. You are at my home, if you blend in with the townspeople, his people might find it difficult to find you.’

Kaew and Khun Chai Pat send telegraphs to alert everyone they are taking a break.

Khun Chai Pat:’I have called out from the hospital. There shouldn’t be an issue. Since I started working, I have never called off. When others called off, I took their place.’

Kaew:’I know. You love you love your job very much.’

Khun Chai Pat:’That is correct I love my job very much for that reason let me have a break and find something else to love.’—The corny love lines starts now!

She looks away and changes the subject. ‘Errr..since we are done here, lets go back. It’s getting hot.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Don’t you want to ask me anything…’

Kaew:’Ask you what?’

Khun Chai Pat:’Ask me why I took a break from work to love what? Or who?’

Kaew turns to look away. ‘I don’t want to ask.’

Khun Chai Pat:’You don’t want to ask because you don’t want to know or you already know.’

It’s getting very uncomfortable for Kaew, she turns to walk away from him. LOL.

Khun Chai Pat is recruited to help deliver a baby, off to the islands they went.

It’s funny, the woman’s in-laws didn’t want Khun Chai Pat to deliver the baby, he looks so young, can he do the job they complained. The dad pleads with his parents to let the doctor help his wife deliver the baby.

The midwife feels insulted she leaves and Khun Chai Pat examines the woman. Her baby’s head has not turned. He massages her pregnant stomach to move his head. It won’t be too difficult the mom is a big woman, if there is any complications, they will need to do an emergency c-section. Kaew is startled by this revelation, she informs him they don’t have instruments for that. He tells her to hush up.

Khun Chai Pat with confidence:’Don’t worry, I said there shouldn’t be a problem, then there won’t be a problem.’

Success! With a big smile. He delivers the baby. NARAK! It was totally weird, the delivery was like a sports game. When she finally deliver the baby, everyone cheered like their team made a score. Dude. Weird.

Khun Chai Pat takes a stroll with Kaew after the delivery. ‘You are talented, you are not afraid of blood.’

Kaew:’Because you are talented, I wasn’t scared.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Usually, I don’t deliver babies.’

Kaew:’But why did you seem so confident?’

Khun Chai Pat:’That can’t be Kaew, if the doctor is not confident, what will the patient do?’

Kaew:’Oh wow, you made it seem easy when really it was difficult.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Giving birth is a natural process. The natural process is one half, for us we are the other half.’

Kaew:’But you were able to save the mother and child.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Because we were fortunate. The problem wasn’t that big, we could handle it. If we were unfortunate, instead of getting gratitude, we might get flattened here.’

She laughs at his joke.

Maratree learns at the hospital Khun Chai Pat is at Hua Hin and goes on a rampage at his home, she whines to his elders. Blah Blah. Oy.

They are asked to stay at the island and Khun Chai Pat is asked to name the baby. He passes the honor to Kaew. She names the new child Samutai meaning the ocean of Thailand. Not bad and he playfully pats her head. ‘You see, you name him better than I would.’

The mother noted Kaew and Khun Chai Pat are a cute couple, she is beautiful and he is handsome. They seem like they love each other very much, she told them. Awkward. In a good way. He smiles at her amused by their praises.

Later that night taking a dark night scroll on the beach, Khun Chai Pat asked if Kaew she felt embarrassed they thought they were lovers.

Kaew:’Not at all. I didn’t think anything of it.’

Khun Chai Pat:’When you say that, I feel extremely disappointed.’

She turns to look  at him: ‘you keep saying inappropriate things.’–oh girl, you just don’t know the half of it. There will be more of his corny lines coming your way.

She looks at the stars. ‘There are so many stars. Here you can the stars clearly, more than my home in Ayutthaya.’

Khun Chai Pat:’you like looking at stars?’

Kaew:’Ka, but I don’t know the names of the stars. I just enjoy looking at them casually.’

He points to a constellation. ‘Look over there, they call that the north star.’

He points to the cluster of stars and asked her to count. She counts only six.

‘There is seven.’

Kaew:’I only counted six.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Most people can only see six, but people with a good eye, skilled in looking at stars, they see a hidden star…they call it a little shy chick.’

‘Where? Are you deceiving me?’

Khun Chai Pat:’Why would I lie to you.’

She tells him to stay still, she uses his pointed arm as an anchor and finds the hidden star.

She turns to look at him and he stares deep into her eyes. Wow.

Khun Chai Pat:’Are you the most beautiful Kaew, more beautiful than any star.’

She turns away and utters his name softly. “Khun Chai.’

‘I am telling you the truth.’

She continues to stare at her. She tells him to stop.

That night they will wait for a comet to pass, it was in the newspaper, people near the beach will have the best view. It will appear around 3 AM. Kaew worries she might fall asleep by then.

Khun Chai Pat:’If you fall asleep, I will wake you up.

Kaew:’What about you, will you not fall sleep?’

Khun Chai Pat:’ How can I fall sleep when you are near me.’–CORNY!

They returned to look at the constellation.

They returned to the main island holding hands. Walking up the stone steps, they are confronted by his great aunt On. She is about to faint because he is with Krong Kaew. Just faint woman, no one cares. This woman is just terrible.

‘I am about to faint. He is really with that Beauty Queen!’

Kaew releases her hands from Khun Chai Pat’s hand and he notices it.

They get a stern lecture from his Great Aunt On. She is disappointed by their actions, they went off in a boat and stayed overnight, this is shameful. She never thought he would do something like this, especially with a woman who shows off her naked body to the public.

Kaew looks up at his Great Aunt On. ‘I wasn’t naked.’

Great Aunt On:’I wasn’t talking to you. Don’t interrupt.’

Khun Chai Pat:”Khun Ya krap, we didn’t do anything shameful.’

Great Aunt On:’Just attaching yourself to this woman is ruining your reputation already. You have no experience with deceitful women. I have seen  plenty those who want to raise themselves up, some compete in beauty pageants, others look for rich husbands, while others do both. No shame.’–oh shut up woman.

After hearing what his Great Aunt had said, he immediately looks at Kaew to see her reaction. From what he could tell, Kaew is hurt by her words. He is ordered by his Great Aunt to return to their palace immediately. No excuses, he must return by himself.

If not does he want to see his grandmother and his great aunt die in despair. That is a little dramatic Great Aunt On. Let the boy get some love.

‘You probably don’t see that low class woman better than us.’ She insinuates.

He doesn’t answer her. ‘Answer me,’ she demanded.

Kaew can’t take the insult anymore, she walks out of the lecture. Khun Chai Pat is about to follow her, his Great Aunt On orders him to stop!

Eventually he follows her to the beach, he finds her crying.

She walks away from him.

‘Where are you going?’

Kaew:’Please don’t bother with me. let me go.’

Khun Chai Pat:’I will not let you leave.’

Kaew:’But I don’t want to be a problem, cause you trouble and have you argue with your elders. Please let me go.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Then what? Are you going to risk it and be captured by Khun Pinit?’

She doesn’t answer him.

Khun Chai Pat:’Kaew if you get captured, do you know how sorry I would feel.’

‘Khun Chai.’

He takes her both her hands. “I beg of you. Don’t worry if I would be in trouble, I am willing do everything for your safety because you are important to me. I will go back to Bangkok and resolve everything with my grandmother. You stay here and I will quickly return to you. Please believe in me. Don’t go anywhere.’

He pulls her in gently for an embrace. ‘Everything will pass without trouble. Please believe me.’

She doesn’t say anything but doesn’t let him go. I think I am gonna punch someone, they are so ADORABLE. I have to praise this woman, Bella is doing a phenomenal job at being Krong Kaew. People are buzzing about James Jirayu, they need to buzz about Bella at the same rate too.

Khun Chai Pat is force to confront his grandmother and Great Aunt and to explain himself. His younger brothers tried to help him out inviting their elders to go talk outside, their Great Aunt On told them to hush up. Khun Chai Pat is not escaping this interrogation today.

The grandmother:’You have to accept you have no experience with women. Since you were a kid to adult, you have been with textbooks and in the operation room. You won’t be able to detect the trickery of certain type of women. Believe me.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Kaew is not that type of woman. She is a good person.’

Great Aunt On:’A person who dressed scantly for the whole country to see and is willing to be a junior (mistress) to Khun Pinit, you dare say she is a good person? That woman has no value, no dignity, she is more dirty then feces. Don’t go dirty yourself more than this.’–Woman, that was harsh.

Khun Chai Pat:’Grandmother, you can’t decide on the opinions of other people. It’s not fair.’

The grandmother:’You dare criticize me?’

Khun Chai Pat:’Do you know why she entered the beauty pageant because her father is ill. It cost a lot. she had no choice but to dress like that up on stage. Kaew has never thought of being anyone’s mistress. Kaew is trying to flee them. It’s Khun Pinit who is refusing to stop, he is using every method to take her. This is the reason why I had to take Kaew.’

Great Aunt On:’Regardless it doesn’t matter, that woman is too lowly for us to ruin our reputation for.’

Khun Chai Lek inserted himself. ‘What is lowly, what is high, how can you tell? Didn’t you teach us, regardless of our pedigree, our title, it has no value unless we are virtuous.’

Khun Chai Ronnapee:’If Khun Kaew is a good person, would their be any uses for a title?’

Great Aunt On:’Both of you, you dare throw it back at me.’–They are.

Khun Chai Pat:’Didn’t you teach us, we were fortunate to be born to have the Jutathep last name but don’t use this opportunity to oppress other people. We should use this to help other who are not as fortunate as we are.’

The Grandmother:’If it true like what you say, I must forbid you to have contact with her.’

What?

The Grandmother:’Tan Pinit is a person who has  the most power in the country at this time. You should not look for trouble and argue with him. It’s not safe.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Grandmother! You are telling me to stay still and watch a good person be bully by a person with power?’

Great Aunt On: ‘Your grandmother is saying  you should remove yourself so another person can handle this directly.’

Khun Chai Pat:’The person who is responsible to handle who is this person?’

Great Aunt On:’Anyone as long it is not us.’

Khun Chai Pat:’You know well there is no one.’

Great Aunt On:’Stop incessantly arguing with me.’

Khun Chai Pat startled his great aunt by raising his voice at her. ‘I just wanted to tell you, the duty of helping a good person from a bad person is the responsibility of everyone. Am I right? Aren’t you proud your grandsons are not staying quiet and still against the unfairness of society? Or do want us to remain still be good people without doing anything. Seeing a good person be oppressed, but whatever. Seeing a bad person bully a person who can’t fight back like a fun entertainment…just let it go….just like that?’

Great Aunt On accused Khun Chai Pat of being brainwashed by Kaew. He defends Kaew saying:’Kaew is just a small woman who is persistent in defying the dark powers in every way. Now what about us? We are the Jutatheps, our authority is not small. What are we doing, we are not doing anything? And we say we are good people this and that. Aren’t you embarrassed?’

He looks up at his grandmothers and tells her has been obedient, he has listened to them. Just this once, let it pass. ‘Just this once, don’t forbid me from doing the thing I should be doing.’

The grandmother:’Chai Pat, you have to tell us the truth you don’t love that woman.’

He doesn’t answer her, meaning yes he does love Kaew.

Kaew remembers what Great Aunt On had said, she sits alone crying and the housekeeper’s wife came to console her. ‘I want these terrible things to come to end Auntie. I pity Khun Chai, I don’t want to be more of a burden to him than I am now.’

‘I will leave here to go back to live with my father.’

She is urged by the housekeeper’s wife to stay.  She is leaving, no matter what happens, it doesn’t matter.

The housekeeper stops her. ‘It would better if you wait until Khun Chai returns, if you leave, do you know how sorry Khun Chai would be?’

She decides to wait for him.

Left or Right? Raise your left hand if you don’t love her. Raise your right hand if you do. He raised his right hand, he does love Kaew and the brothers cheered. Since he does love her, Khun Chai Lek has an idea but it will go against their grandmother.

When his brothers remind him of the obstacles he is facing with their grandmothers, with Khun Pinit, with Maratree. He told them he will solve each problem one by one but the most important issue is KAEW! Oh my gosh.

Khun Chai Ronnapee:’The most important? Why? Because of the heart?’

Yea! He doesn’t hide it.

The next day at the hospital, Khun Chai Pat is informed by his boss Khun Pinit came by to talk to him about the situation with Kaew and how Khun Chai Pat took her from Khun Pinit. Khun Chai Pat apologized for his actions and explained himself. ‘The thing that I have done is because I can’t stand aside to watch a good person be preyed on by someone who wants to take advantage of them.’

His boss informs him Khun Pinit is withdrawing the money he donated from the hospital. However, he is not siding with either Khun Pinit or Khun Chai Pat, all he cares about is the patients who benefited from the donation.

Khun Chai Pat can’t believe it, Khun Pinit is using dirty methods to make him yield to his demands. Khun Chai Pat’s boss tells him Khun Pinit has many methods, he didn’t elaborate on what.

After hearing the unsettling news from his boss, he runs into Maratree in the hallways and she goes off on him. Geeze. ‘Your trip to Hua Hin, was it fun? Will you not tell me who you went with?’

He changes the subject and tries to get away from her. ‘I have an operation scheduled, I don’t have time right now.’

Maratree:’You don’t have time or you can’t face me? Are you embarrassed you took a woman who aroused the whole city to as far as Hua Hin?’

He shouted her name loudly out of disdain and walked away. Ha.

The hey, they found her. Khun Bai Bua and Khun Pinit’s men found her.

She is helped by the housekeeper, his wife and the townspeople. This guy and his gun–funny.

Maratree doesn’t know when to stop. After the surgery where he has no blood on his gown (ha), Maratree comes at him again. ‘Pee Chai Pat ka, we have to talk about this.’

She accused him of NOT caring about their family’s name and honor.

‘Maratree:’This is not a place to talk about this.’

She looks around at everyone, they hurried away.

‘Where should we talk about it, you left the palace, you went away for two days, and didn’t come to the hospital either. You have changed a lot. Your’t not working, you have become  a bad person, you have become part of those people who are absorbed within the mosquito’s net (I don’t know what that means). You secretly took your kept woman to the shores. Instead of another place, you took her to your family’s house in Hua Hin, that is most damaging and sinful thing ever.’–I have to admit my translation sucks. I understand it but can’t pick up the words to translate it better.

Khun Chai Pat:’It’s not like that! Nothing damaging one’s reputation  happened.’

Maratree:’You took a beautiful city woman after the ball to the ocean by yourselves at night. But nothing happened? Then why did you take her? Did you go take her to shot birds and catch fishes or what?’–Maybe.

Khun Chai Pat:’Maratree you are an aristocrat, don’t talk like a sharp-tongued woman.’

Maratree:’A sharp-tongued woman is better than being a shameful woman who entices with her thighs to auction herself off.’

He told her to shut up. ‘I am not talking to you anymore. You don’t care about the truth, you just want to yell at the other person.’–True.

He walks away, she tries to follow after him. Dr.Yotsawin blocks her way. He is trying to save the reputation of the hospital. They don’t want to hear arguments by their caregivers.

Dr.Yotsawin tells Maratree to let it go. She is a beautiful woman, find someone new she would be happier. Then she informs him the woman Khun Chai Pat took to the beach was Krong Kaew, the woman he likes too.

He doesn’t believe it. Kaew and Khun Chai Pat are not those type of people. She throws it back at him. ‘How does it feel? You have been giving lessons always now it’s your turn to experience it. Krong Kaew, your goddess, your angel is really an enthusiastic woman, easy, worthless, and shameless.’

Dr.Yotsawin:’Don’t slander her name like that?’

Maratree:’Are you troubled? Upset?  Disappointed? It can be easy fix if you change your mind, stop loving, stop hoping for that woman only pretty in pictures blowing stinky kisses to everyone that’s all. It’s easy…easy.’

Maratree continues to go off about Khun Chai Pat changing, not caring about his responsibilities and urged Dr. Yotsawin to accept the ugly reality.

It’s a dream, Khun Chai Pat getting shot by Glai-Lerk.

It’s Kaew greatest fear and her nightmare.

She woke up to find him looking down at her and she immediately embraced him.

Khun Chai Pat:’Kaew…Don’t cry my good person. I won’t go anywhere anymore.’-ahhhh.

She realizes she is touching him, she releases him and apologizes.

He is baffled by her apology. ‘Why are you apologizing?’

‘For hugging you, I forgot myself. I was happy, I didn’t think you would return.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Why wouldn’t I return?’

Kaew:’I was afraid something bad had happened to you and the people from your palace probably don’t want you to lose your reputation.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Kaew, no one can block me. If a person like me is determined to do something, there is no obstacle.’–he one confident mother…

Kaew:’Really?’

Khun Chai Pat:’What do you mean really? Wait you don’t trust me? You thought I was lying?

Kaew:’No. I thought you were just comforting me or possibly deluding yourself. Like when you were hobbling to deliver the baby, you were not sure if you could do it. But you exerted your confidence to make everyone be at ease. Khun Chai ka, sometimes certain problems, you have to accept reality.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Reality? Fine! I will show you what reality is.’

He orders her to go wash her face and get dress. They are leaving.

Kaew:’so it is time for me to leave now.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Don’t ask, just go get ready. Be quick about it too.’—man, this guy so forceful.

She thinks he is abandoning her and packs all her belongings.

Outside he asked her:’Why are you taking all your belongings?’

Kaew:’I thought we are returning….’

Khun Chai Pat:’Returning where?’

He ordered the housekeeper to take Kaew’s belonging back to the house.

Kaew:’But those are my things and the evening gown, I was thinking about getting it dry cleaned and returning it to you because I know it was very expensive.’

He is pissed off and she doesn’t understand why. ‘Don’t say anything to make me more upset than this. Don’t talk as if we don’t know each other, as if you don’t know me.’

He drags her into the car. ‘Where are we going,’ she asked.

Khun Chai Pat:’We are going to go do something  that will eradicate all our obstacles.’

He takes her to the courthouse to get marry.

Khun Chai Pat:’Get out of the car.’

Kaew:’What are we doing here?’

Khun Chai Pat:’There were a lot of things that happened to you and also to me.’

Kaew:’really? What happened to you?’

Khun Chai Pat:’You don’t need to know.’—I loved it when he said that. It was very overly confident.

Kaew:’You need to tell me if what happened to you is because of me.’

Khun Chai Pat:’There is no need.’

Kaew:’When it was your turn, you accused me of not trusting you. Now you are hiding things from me which means you don’t trust me either.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Kaew, I just don’t want you to think too much of it. Just this you are thinking about leaving me and facing everything on your own.’–awww.

Kaew:’Because I don’t have to right to cause problems for a good person with a good life.’

Khun Chai Pat:’Kaew, you left me can you make it?’

Kaew:’Make it or not, I will fight to my death.’

Khun Chai Pat:’If I let you go in fear of trouble, do you think it would be suitable for me to call myself a man?’

She doesn’t answer him and looks up at the building. ‘What are we doing here?’

She is stunned they going to sign a marriage license, he looks at her ‘don’t we love each other Kaew?’–ha.

The things she would say to him, it’s just downright hilarious. Like the bunny scene in ep 3, out in the forest, Soifah and Khun Chai Rachanon caught a bunny but Soifah wanted to let him go. ‘Let him go, he is so cute. I don’t think I can eat him. Pah Yai also taught us not to kill animals if not necessary.’ He agrees with her,  but they have no food. She explains they are in the forest, they have plenty of options, they should go find shelter first. With that he realizes:’ a woman will always be a woman–compassionate, sympathetic. Why are you sympathetic to that bunny but not to this bunny?’ He asked.

Her reactions was hilarious:’EWW! That bunny is cute! But you…you’re very disgusting.’

Their relationship has progressed substantially, she is letting him in and accepting his advances. Yesterday episode 10, she finally lets her heavily guarded emotions down and confessed she loves him too. She is near the creek, drinking water. They are talking about how he prefers if she is still in her hometown, safe and sound, not fighting a war to reclaim her country and to save her father.

She tells him he doesn’t need to worry about her, she had to come because this is her country and that is her father being held captive.

Khun Chai Rachanon:’Hey, up to this point you still don’t know why I am so concern about you? Why I have been trying to prevent you from coming along too?’

She turns to look at him. ‘Why?’

He inches closer to her. ‘Because I love you. There is no man in this world who will allow his love to face death. I am not of the Vieng Poo Kam people, but my wife is. Like you once told us, where ever a husband goes, a wife must follow. If you are willing to risk your life, I am ready to die with you. ‘

Soifah:’No. I will make it alive. I will not let you die because of me. We will return to be together again. And I will be very good to you like you are good with me. If not necessary, I will not let you be physically hurt again.’

With a smile, he wants her to say she loves him. ‘Up to this point, can’t you just say I love you?’

Soifah:’A person like me will not tell someone she loves him that easily. People who love each other don’t need to say ‘I love you’ to know they love each other.’

Oh.

Khun Chai Rachanon:’Oh, meaning actions mean more than words.’

She slightly nods. He wants proof  and she tells him to turn around. He gives her this dumbfounded look but does as he is told.

Then she jumps on his back. He was like what?

‘This is how you say I love you to me?’

Soifah:’Don’t say much, just take me to back to the camp.’

Ha.

Khun Chai Rachanon:’Fine. But hold on tight.’

Soifah exasperated: ‘we can go now.’

It ends today June 15, 2013. Boo.

I was highly anticipating Khun Chai Ronnapee after Khun Chai Rachanon of the Gentlemen series and I was rather disappointed by the pacing. Everything else–from the acting, the cinematography, wardrobe–all very beautiful and well done; however, the story and pacing of the series is described by some fans at Pantip as being bland and I somewhat agree though I will still keep watching.

Khun Chai Ronnapee seems depressed and brooding–like dude what is up? Maybe he is depressed because he can’t find the love his life like his brothers have.  His oldest brother Khun Chai Tarathorn has a fiance and his other 3 older brothers have wives. His partner in crime Khun Chai Lek is now married to Princess Soifah. His best friend Chat is now the crowned prince of Vieng Poo Kam and is engaged to be married to Janta who is the long lost sister of Buck Joy if you were watched the ending of Khun Chai Rachanon you will know what I am talking about. All his amigos have left him.

Some fans were gushing over the future appearances of the Jiranee couple as seen in the opening credit of Khun Chai Ronnapee. Khun Chai Puttipat gives his wife Krong Kaew a kiss on the cheeks at dinner. Out of all the brothers to their wives, Khun Chai Puttipat who was described as a emotionless robot who didn’t know how to love who only cared about practicing medicine, he is the most affectionate towards his wife. How ironic. Fans did thanked the director  Chatchai Plengpanich of the series for giving them what they want from the Jiranee couple–more guk-gik scenes.

Some fans were disappointed by Mark Prin’s brief cameo in episode 1. You really had to look for him–he was there and then he was gone. Fans miss Mark Prin onscreen.

There is a lot of angst in the series–the nang’ek Piang-kwan played by Mint Chalida is a struggling entertainer trying to make ends meet to fed her family and she also has a reputation for being a ‘loose’ woman which is not true at all. She is very prideful, she knows what people think of her that she is a beautiful entertainer who sells her body. Though she can’t show her true emotions, she can only show strength in the face of their hatred and gossip, she is going through a lot.

What’s great about this series is that you get to see your other favorite characters make an appearance. Even though their series end, they reappear. The Khun Ying Taew and Khun Chai Ruj shippers are waiting for their cameo in Khun Chai Ronnapee.

This is some lakorn, it has not even aired and already it has a sequel. For the lakorn ‘Dao Kiao Duen (The sun courts the moon)’ starring Janie Tienposuwan as a modern woman looking to have child with a man with the right pedigree. She finds her match in Aum Atichart who is a Thai nobleman, his character is Mom Rachawong Jantarapanu. Aum fathers her son Mom Luang Janthakan. In the sequel titled ‘Dao Kiang Duen (The sun beside the moon)’ their adult son will be played by Ken Phupoom Pongpanu with newcomer ’Namtarn’ Pichukkana Wongsarattanasin as his leading actress. It’s a romantic comedy.

The fitting for the series took place today June 17, 2013, Ken was dressed up in stylish fitted suits and tie as he playing the son of a nobleman. Namtarn is playing Darika, the granddaughter or niece of an undertaker.

I love this look on Namtarn, it makes her look stylishly young.

You know what I don’t watch a lot of Ch7 lakorns. I just don’t. I watch way more lakorns from other channels than Ch7–usually I don’t like the plot or the pairing or the production quality of Ch7. I am not saying all Ch7 lakorns are bad, they are just not my taste.

Ch7 executives are doing a crack down on stars who sneak out of lakorn sets to go off and do event gigs. Stars make more money accepting event gigs and doing advertising than filming their lakorns. Ch7 executives are getting frustrated by the lack of responsibility they are putting their foot down. If a star can not balance their schedules and leave lakorn sets to do event gigs, they will be black-listed and could even get fired. Ch7 will have the right to immediately replace them with someone else. Oh.

She keep saying, no being loyal to her show: ‘I don’t want to watch any other show, I want to only watch Khun Chai only.’

Ha.

The little girl named Aiya refused to leave her room or watch any other series. ‘I don’t want to leave my room, I don’t want to watch TV.’

She wants a Khun Chai number 6.

This is one of the funniest part, her mom is telling her, it’s time to go to sleep and have sweet dreams. She refuses. ‘NO. I can’t sleep and I won’t have sweet dreams.’

Mom:’Why not?’

nong Aiya:’Because I want to watch Khun Chai, I want to watch starting from Khun Chai Mor (Khun Chai Puttipat).’

She confesses she likes Khun Chai Puttipat the best.

On Saturday, nong Aiya got to meet the 4 actors in the Gentlemen series, excluding Pope, the second brother–probably due to scheduling conflicts. She got a hug from James Ma (Khun Chai Ronnapee), Great Warintorn (Khun Chai Tarathorn), and Bomb Tanin (Khun Chai Rachanon) and she got to kiss her favorite James Ji (Khun Chai Puttipat) on Ch3′s morning show ‘Rueng Rao Chao Nee (The story this morning)’.

I have been watching Ch5′s period drama ‘Sut Sai Pan (End of a Thread) ‘ starring singer ‘Toom Tam’ Yuthana Puengklarng with ‘Vill’ Wannaros Sonthichai off and on, I don’t know if I like or not. I just know the leading man infuriates me to no end, he is an emotional guy, very forceful with his love–sometimes he comes off as a bully. Each episode, he is mad about something, there is a constant misunderstanding. The nang’ek played by Vill is clueless because her estrange twin sister has been using her name to seduce men. Oh. Yea. This is like an epic ‘nam nao’ lakorn. 

If you haven’t been watching, let me quickly bring you up to speed. There are two sisters, twins both played by Vill. One is raised by her outstanding father, he is pretty well off, and he raised his daughter Kandaomasee well. She is proper and prim and well-educated. Her twin sister Kandamanee was raised by their mother who married a perverted man. Kandamanee has known she has a twin sister for some time, she is very resentful of her sister to who she believes had a good life with their wealthy father. Kandamanee has been using her sister’s name to seduce men and having the fun life. The latest guy to fall in love with her is Mom Luang Thiti Sorayakan, they dated when he didn’t know he was from a wealthy noble Thai family–the Sorayakan. Kandamanee played with his heart and tossed him away like a rag-doll.

Months later Thiti learns he is from the Sorayakan noble family and receives a major inheritance from his deceased grandfather who has been looking for him for years. His grandmother then betroths him to Kandaomasee and he thinks it is the same girl he fell in love with months ago. He is resentment towards her, has a lot anger because of what Kandamanee did to him. He believes Kandaomasee is a man-eater. In truth, he got the wrong girl. He bullies her out of frustration and Kandaomasee doesn’t understand why and she keeps telling him she is not that person he fell for. She keeps telling him she doesn’t know him, he doesn’t believe her.

Kandaomasee and Thiti do get marry and right away they fall into this rough patch of mistrust and misunderstanding. Thiti is furious with Kandaomasee for not accepting his love and Kandaomasee on guard in this strange environment where she is married to a man she barely knows and there are strangers coming up to her saying they know her. She had been studying aboard for years, she doesn’t know these people. She is constantly fighting with Thiti. She likes him but she is unsure of his love, she is not the girl he fell for. If he finds out they are not the same woman, will he love her still?

Thiti’s grandmother starts to see tension between them she decides they need to take a vacay at Hua Hin. In today episode, they are still at Hua Hin and finally they consummated their relationship. They slept together.

In bed, he tells her:

‘When I first saw you, I knew I could not love anyone else except you.’

In her mind: ‘Khun Thiti ka, I would be very happy if you loved me when you know I am not that woman.’

She is conflicted and then there is the drama with her father being in the hospital because of the shock that her stepmother has wasted away their money and inheritance on gambling debts.

By the end of the episode, Thiti finally meets the fake Kandaomasee when he nearly runs over her with his car. The preview will just piss you off because Thiti decides to tell his grandmother he wants to break up with Kandaomasee, his wife to be with Kandamanee, the real love of his life. Dude. You’re dumb. You can’t just switch partners like that and they are twin sisters. How gross is that? This guy has no shame.

When they were fighting on the beach and he finally catches her in the water, he tells her: ‘I told you, you can’t escape me. Don’t flee from me anymore.’

The scene where they slept together occurred in the middle of the episode. This is episode 7 in full, enjoy it before it gets deleted by youtube.

As the result of the scandal, the negative feedback from the Thai public regarding Janie Tienposuwan and her new husband ‘Ae’ Chonsawat Asavahame, Ch3 has decided to postponed her lakorn with Aum Atichart  ‘Dao Kiao Duen’, a romantic comedy from Broadcast Thai productions indefinitely. Until the dust clears, the lakorn’s air date will be reevaluated. Ee.

It was suppose to air mid-August, not any more. In its place will be Noon Woranuch’s lakorn ‘Tong Neua Gao’ directed by ‘Aof’ Pongpat Wachirabunjong. A positive I guess since James Ji in this one starring alongside Noon as her adult son.

The Thai public is not happy with Janie and there has been several comments relating to her role in ‘Rang Ngao’ and even a parody MV has been made using the soundtrack to ‘Rang Ngao’ criticizing her. Thai netizens are having a field day with this.

There will be a ‘Rang Ngao 2′ but will Janie be in it is another story.

I will make this short and sweet. Because Noon’s lakorn is not ready to go on air, Janie’s lakorn with Aum will go on air as planned on August 29, 2013. Filming for the lakorn ‘Dao Kiao Duen’ has not been completed, they have 4 scenes left. Janie along with her husband Ae met with the executive of Ch3 and everything seems to be fine.

I am surprised Look Tat is not doing so well, it’s a well-made series paying attention to detail and costumes but the plot is not my cup of tea. From what I hear from the mother who is a major lakorn addict, it’s also well-acted.

Spoiler Alert:

I have a feeling Samee Teetra will see a jump in numbers since it was revealed super villain Nampueng (played by Jui Warattaya) is pregnant with Khun Seewa, the fiancee of Koi, Gang (our leading lady played by Ploy Chermarn)’s younger sister. Then Pueng lied to Gang saying Pisut (Pope Thanawat) is the father of her baby when it is nearly impossible for him to be so. He knows Seewa is the father but doesn’t say anything. Oy. Did you follow? Wednesday’s episode Gang and Pisut fought and broke up, Thursday’s episode Gang discovered Nampueng lied to her and Khun Seewa is the father. The ‘whole is the father’ revelation came to light at Khun Seewa and Koi’s wedding which lead to their break up. Starting to see a thread, Nampueng is a home-wrecker.

I like this guy, I like him a lot. For a newbie, for his first lakorn, DJ Push Puttichai Kasetsin is doing well and having an amazing chemistry with his co-star Vill Wannaros Sonthichai. The plot of Leh Nangfah can get a little boring, but when Vill and DJ Push is onscreen, I get excited. I enjoy the the push and shove and the bickering. These two have a lot of chemistry and I hope to see more romantic scenes of them together. We are on episode 6, and there is still no drastic development in their relationship, just bickering.

Did anyone notice or is anyone watching?We got Teepope played by DJ Push showing signs that he has been harboring feelings for bratty Beauty played by Vill Wannaros since they were kids. In his quiet, annoyed way, Teepope is protective of Beauty. I get the feeling he wants to be the big man in her life. When they were kids he used to be a cute fatty and he was bullied by her, she called him ‘four-eye fatty’. My thought is since he secretly liked her, when she started teasing him about his chubbiness, he never got over it even as an adult.

Near the end of episode 6, so cute. These child actors are so adorable, I want to punch someone. They were in the flash back sequences, showing that Teepope probably liked Beauty since they were little.

Currently  we got Beauty being trained by Teepope on how to manage the company, he is forcing her to work from the bottom up and making her write daily logs about her experiences. In one of her entries, she writes the workers are divided, there are some hoodlums that work in this company, causing ruckus and she admits she is being bullied but she fights back. Teepope asked how can she fight back when she is just one person against many, Beauty tells him, she relies on her supervisor Bah Seenuan (Aunty Seenuan) for protection. Teepope is baffled, earlier Beauty had complained Bah Seenuan was too strict and yelled at her often. After working with her, Beauty brags and praised Bah Seenuan as the most sincere and compassionate person in the company. ‘Yes, she yells but only yells when you have done wrong. But I have never been angry with her. Bah Seenuan is very sincere–the most adorable person ever!’

Hearing this, Teepope smiles a little, deep down he knows underneath all of Beauty’s brattiness she is a sweet girl. Seeing her grow as a person, he is starting to become mesmerized by her. He remembers when they were kids, he had a puppy and she was a afraid to pat it. He assured her: ‘Don’t be afraid, I won’t let it bite you.’  Little Beauty complains to chubby Teepope how she wants to raise a puppy too but her father refuses to let her. Chubby Teepope promised to find her a puppy if she gets permission from her father to have one. ‘Really? You promised?’ she excitedly asked him.

‘Yes, really.’ He replied and she hugged him and praised him ‘you are the most generous person on this planet.’ So cute. And he is like all proud and touched by the compliment.

Adult Teepope remembers this moment fondly. Adult Beauty doesn’t notice he is off in la la thinking about the past.

Tik and Anne’s lakorn ‘Forget me not’ dominates while Ch7 lakorns continue to struggle. Ch7 might see success with their new horror lakorn ‘Susan Kon Bpen’ it rose by 1.4 point by the second episode. If not they might hurry it along and find a new lakorn to air. Unlike Ch3, if a lakorn is not a success, they quickly end it.
