Once in a while, I need a good slap and kiss lakorn with tons of drama, nonsense plotline, and I have a feeling ‘Fai Marn (Satan’s fire)’ coming up on Ch7 will satisfy my cravings. The plot line of ‘Fai Marn’ is very simple, it tells the story of two individual trying to deal with the emotional repercussion of their parent’s immoral transgression of adultery.

‘Chat’ Pariyachat Limthammahison is Kanaree or Kao, her mother is the mistress of Suang (‘Porshe’ Saran Siriluksana)’s father. Years ago, when Kao was very young, her mother Nudee or Papit (‘Nut’ Nussaba Punnakan) left her father for a married rich man, Suang’s father, General Arak. Kao’s father turned to alcohol to console his broken heart, her brother Kaew became jaded about women and love. He dates them but doesn’t give them love.

Kao, too, is emotionally affected–though it does not appear like it did–Kao is a young reporter, she is described as brave and bold–a strong female type, but deep inside, she is emotionally drowning–longing for a mother who left her, trying to understand why her mother abandoned her to be someone’s mistress. She doesn’t get it.

‘Mom, what were you thinking to leave me and become someone’s mistress,’ Kao says in the teaser.

As for Suang (Porsche), he is  having a rough time at home too–constantly fighting with his father about his father’s mistress. He wants her out. In the teaser where Suang is park under a bridge near the river, he says: ‘Don’t you know dad, you brought a fire to burn down our house and the fire you brought in is the fire of Satan.’  Strong words there buddy.

‘Fai Marn (Satan’s fire) airs this Wednesday, September 5th, 2012 on Ch7.

Is it just me or does this lakorn remind me of the Tanya and Pinky scandal–the mistress just refuses to end it and the legal wife is like psychotic. I am not saying they are, it just how the media is portraying it to be. If this was me, I would have left him and took all his money in the divorce. Staying with a man you love but does not love you seems tiring.

Everyone is affected by the AFFAIR, all the kids involve have an emotional issue with it. They are normal people but once they see the affair in motion, they can’t take it. It makes them over-think, it makes them angry—I am thinking they all need therapy. It’s been more than 10 years, Kao can’t get over it, her mother abandoned her, she can’t stand seeing her mother in the newspaper, even talking about her mother is emotionally draining. Suang, our pra’ek, he is embarrassed–he is trying to be the big man, trying to help his mom out to no avail. You feel sorry for the people who are caught in the middle of this drama.

I like it so far.

Photobucket
Suang returns to Thailand from studying aboard, he is at the airport with his girlfriend or betrothed Sook, she is overly affectionate with him, he tells her to cut it out because they are in a public place. Suang is very conscious of his environment because of what his mother said about the scandal involving his father and his father’s mia noi. His mother: ‘Be cautious  my son, if the reporters know you are coming back today, they might come swarming for you.’

Suang doesn’t understand why his mother is concern, he tells her he is not that important, but she assures him he is–they probably want your take on the scandal she says.

Kao is at the airport too, she is a reporter, a paparazzi with a big camera searching for the actress ‘Fah’, an up and coming actress who has a scandal of being someone’s mistress. Kao got a tip from someone Fah is at the airport meeting up with her rich married boyfriend Sia Veenai for a trip to Japan.

Kao sees Fah meeting up with her Sia Veenai, she takes her camera out to take a shot of the couple, her view is blocked by Suang and his girlfriend. Suang is on edge and thinks Kao is a reporter out to get news on him. He confronts her about the picture, she is baffled because she has no idea who is he. ‘Why would I take a picture of you? Or maybe you were doing something shameful and you are afraid I would expose you.’

Suang’s girlfriend explains, they are not doing anything wrong.

‘We are a couple, even if I stand here hugging and kissing him, there is nothing wrong with that, ‘ she argued. She then proceeded to kiss Suang on the cheeks. ‘Am I right, my love?’

Kao sighs and  fires back at her. ‘You can do whatever you want, as long as it doesn’t make front page news ‘A young groom and his young wife did something lewd in the middle of the airport’ na.’

Kao decides she had a enough of these two and decides to go look for actress Fah, Suang follows her, he want his pictures or maybe something more from our heroine Kao. Sook doesn’t get it, she wants to be front page news with Suang to let others know they are a couple.

Suang fights with Kao for the camera. Nick, Kao’s reporter friends sees them. At first, he was going to intervene but decides to take a picture of the pair tussling for the camera. He takes a shot of Suang pulling Kao closer to his body–an awkward moment. Instantly Kao jumps back.

He takes the memory card and pays her. She doesn’t get it, yeah she accidentally took his picture, he was blocking her view, Kao accused Suang of thinking too highly of himself. He is a nobody to her. He gives her a warning. ‘Remember this warning so that the next time, you won’t have to swallow your own spit.’

Back at the office, Kao yells at Nick for taking a picture of her instead of helping her out. Nick showed the picture to Kao’s other co-worker and said: ‘the picture turned out pretty, it’s the new ‘it’ couple.’ Looking at the picture more, Nick said the guy looks familiar.

Kao and her other co-workers are chatting about Fah, they don’t get it, why would an up and coming actress become someone’s mistress. The word mistress and the whole conversation makes Kao feel uneasy. Kao goes home and still can’t get over the conversation from earlier.

Editor Ja: I really want to know a woman who becomes a mia noi, what are they thinking?

Kao takes out a family portrait frame underneath her pile of clothes and wonders the same thing. She has a flashback of the day her mother left her father. She remembers her father pleading with her mother to stay, telling her he will do better. “I promise to take better care of you and our children please don’t leave me,’ he pleads. The mom said they have passed that point and she is leaving.

Looking at the family portrait, Kao says: “Mom is cruel.’

Her brother Kaew agrees and shows a picture of their mom in the newspaper. They can’t believe how unashamed their mother has become. She is out in the open with her relationship with a married man. Both are disgusted.

Kao:’She knows being a mistress is condemned by society, but yet she can face the camera with a smile.’

Kaew angrily:’Mae is probably happy to be a mistress, that Arak guy, he has power and money.’

Kao:’Are those two thing really that important P’Kaew for her to abandoned dad and us?’

Kaew:’ For a person who doesn’t know enough, those two things will always have importance.’

Their father orders them to stop blaming their mother. If he was a better man, she would have stayed.  Kao tells her dad to stop defending their mother, a mother doesn’t abandon her children. ‘Mom is selfish, mom chose the easy life, even though her easy life is in the pit of fire.’

Suang hugs his surprised mother Khun Ying Suda, he is home early. He decided to come home early to surprise his mother and to avoid the reporters, but still there was one reporter he tells his mother. They are relentless. His father General Arak walks into the room and his mother makes sure he knew what happened at the airport with Suang.

Mom: ‘Like I said, they want to know if Suang is walking in with a bucket over his head when his father has more esteem for his mistress over his mother.’ OUCH.

General Arak pulls his wife into their room and they start to argue. He doesn’t want his wife to discuss their marital problems in front of their son.

General Arak: ‘Our son just came back, why did you tell him about this?’

Khun Ying Suda:’Are you embarrassed? You have done this to that extent, you don’t need to be embarrass, the whole nation knows that you are infatuated with her. To humiliate me is not enough, you had to expose it!’

General Arak: ‘Stop. Why are speaking so much?’

Khun Ying Suda:’To make you think! To this extent, you can’t even think. You are probably afraid your child will not respect you anymore. Don’t be afraid, Suang has no respect for you because you have hurt me. Do you hear me, Khun Arak, you have hurt me, hurt me!’

General Arak furiously:’How far is this gonna go, I have been with her for 10 years, when will you stop being jealous?’

NEVER! She told him.

From the outside, Suang listens to his parent’s argument and decides to intervene. His father tells him to go back to his room. He tells his father how can he when he is hurting his mother.

General Arak plays dumb and said ‘what have I done?’

Suang:’You have taken up with another woman to trample over my mother’s heart, you have given her value, don’t you know that is wrong?’

General Arak:’I have raised you from a kid to an adult, you have no right to insult me like this.’

Suang: ‘When you are hurting my mother, our family, it means you have no restraint, no common sense, dad you have no conscious!’

Enraged by his son’s insult, General Arak slaps Suang in the face and tells his wife to divorce him. If I am so bad, then divorce me. He accused his wife of not divorcing him because of his prestige and wealth. If she wants those things and to stay with him, then stay out of his business. What a douche! A wife is a wife not a mom, he has only one mom.

Suang vows as he is hugging his mama:’I only have one mom too, I must restore my mother’s dignity.’

Khun Papit opens a jewelry store, General Arak is there at the grand opening.

Photobucket By chance, Suang and his girlfriend Sook is there too looking at them from afar.  His father sees him and asked to talk to him privately. ‘Why did you come here?’

Suang:’What? Were you afraid I would do something to your mistress?’

General Arak:’Suang!’

Suang:’This is not a restricted area that I can’t come to.’

Genral Arak:’But I am going to forbid you to stop you from causing problems. Don’t come messing around Papit’s store.’

Suang:’I just realized you work in the security field too dad. Okay. I won’t get myself involve–not because it is a restricted area. But I think this is a pardon area where good people should not get involve with immoral people.’

General Arak: ‘Ai SUANG!’

Kao comes home to see her father setting the table for dinner. She has a flashback of her family during happier times. Kao notices her father seems distraught, she interrogates him. She realizes he is thinking about her mother. ‘Dad I don’t understand why you can’t let her go?’

Kao’s father: ‘Can you? I saw her in the news again, she must be happy, better than being with me.’

Kao:’Yes, she must be really happy.’

Photobucket

Khun Papit does seem cold-hearted but she still misses her kids. As Khun Papit is chatting with her friend Chalem at her jewelry store about Khun Papit’s relationship with Khun Arak and her desire to be his wife, Khun Ying Suda walks in.

Photobucket

They decide to have a chat at a cafe, Kao and her reporter friends follow them to get the gossip. They start to argue, Khun Papit starts to flaunt her relationship with General Arak to Khun Ying Suda: ‘we are seen together so often that the media has completely forgotten about you.’

Khun Ying Suda:’You have gotten a lot of money from him now, you should stop messing with my husband now.’

Khun Papit:’But your husband won’t stop messing with me.’

She receives a sms message from him saying ‘MISS YOU’ in English and shows it to Khun Ying Suda.

“It means I miss you, we haven’t been apart that long and he has sent me 10 messages already. Now what about you this year how many have you gotten?’

Khun Papit turns her video option and starts to record their conversation. Khun Ying Suda starts to attack Khun Papit and warns her to stay away from her husband. Chalem breaks them up.

Photobucket

Kao who is listening to their conversation is shaken by the incident. That is her mother being attacked and it is her mother who is being deceitful.

Photobucket

As he talking to a client, Suang receives a distress call from his mother. The client who is also a close friend of the family understands and says he will come back later.

Photobucket

Khun Ying Suda pleads with her son. ‘I refuse, I refuse, she insulted me, I am embarrassed. Suang, handle this for me.’

Suang:’I will, I want you stop crying first. Seeing you like this makes me feel uneasy.’

Khun Ying Suda:’How will you handle this?’

Suang:’I will remove her from our lives completely.’

Khun Ying Suda:’Handle it my son, make sure she is not able to step foot in society again.’

Kao and her friends are still disturbed by the fight between Khun Ying Suda and Khun Papit. The incident made Nick’s arm hair stand. It’s scary, he said. Women are scary. Her friends want her to do the new piece on it. Kao doesn’t want to, they were there but don’t have proof. Nick takes out his phone, they do, he recorded the whole fight on his phone.

As Nick is urging Kao to take the phone, Kao is knocked by Suang is was bumped by a guy in a hurry, the phone falls to the ground. Suang apologizes and she realizes it is him, the memory card guy. As he is putting the phone back together, he plays the video clip of his mother and Khun Papit fighting.

Suang:’Don’t put this in the news.’

Kao:’What right do you have to forbid me?’

Suang:’My family is not a public figure. If you ruin my family’s reputation, I will SUE you.’

Photobucket

Khun Papit interrupts them. ‘I beg of you. This is just a little misunderstanding. We are a family. We can talk this out.’

Kao:’The same family? But just a moment ago, Khun Ying Suda did not accept you. I am sorry I spoke too straightforwardly.’

Khun Papit:’If you want to write about it, go ahead. Just don’t distort things. I understand that gossip about us is salary for people like you.’

She smiles at them and walks away.

Suang:’Put you put my mother’s issue in the news, I will definitely sue you.’

Oh, they just realized who Suang is, Khun Ying Suda’s son.

BEST Scene of this episode, the Lakorn talk.

Suang follows Khun Papit and orders her to stop. She ignores him, pretending not to hear him calling out her name.

Suang:’I told you to stop!’

Khun Papit nonchalantly:’Khun Suang, you came to see me to congratulate me on my new jewelry store?’

Suang:’No one is glad that a low down woman has come into their lives and caused their family to break up.’

Khun Papit:’When have I done this? I think you imagined it yourself.’

Suang:’So it is like this that is why my mother can never combat you.’

Khun Papit:’Then  you should accept it, when you father has esteem for me, value me, has given me everything.  Khun Suang, you should respect me as your father’s wife like people in the same family.’

Suang:’I will never accept you as a family member! Stop talking about that.’

Khun Papit:’Then tell your mother to divorce your father so that your father doesn’t have to repeat himself. It’s tiring.’

Suang:’ No way! My father would never leave my mother.’

Khun Papit:’Then tell you mother, how many times as Khun Arak asked her and me waiting like this, I really feel for you. You should thank me for being open-minded and not causing problems for you.’–oh hell na.

Suang:’If you think that way, I will follow you and cause problems for you to make society see you only as a mistress for the rest of your life.’

Khun Papit:’I don’t care about society. I only care about Mr. Arak. When his heart and body is mine, I will consider that the end.’

She spells the word ‘end’ for him.

Suang:‘This lakorn is not only written by you. Whenever it ends, it is you who will be removed from my family.’

Khun Papit taunting:‘That is fine. This lakorn we write it together, I really want to know who will stay and who will leave. But for sure, the person who is leaving, it is definitely not me.’

Beside a pillar, Kao is listening to their conversation. She can’t believe it. As she is walking home, Kao asked herself:’how can mom turned out this way? Okay, stop thinking about this. Think of work only!’

As he is driving home, Suang thinks about his conversation with Khun Papit, he is in a foul mood.

Photobucket

General Arak listens to the recording from Khun Papit about the fight earlier that day. Khun Papit plays innocent, like she is the victim. ‘I don’t understand why Khun Ying hates me so much as I stay in my own corner.’

General Arak:’Everyday now, I am tired of this. Khun Suda doesn’t understand.’

Khun Papit:’What do you want me to do to satisfy Khun Ying Suda, I am prepare to do everything.’

He hugs her. ‘You don’t have to do anything, I will handle everything.’

He does so, by confronting his wife.

He walks to his house and asked his son sternly for his wife.

Suang:’Since your voice is like that, she probably told you everything already.’

General Arak:’I am asking you where is your mother?’

Suang:’Why are you asking for my mother when you believe whatever that woman says already.’

General Arak: ‘I want to see your mother because I want to know if she went over to Papit’s store and yelled at her.’

Khun Ying Suda:’What did I yell at?’

General Arak:’You dare ask?’

He plays the video or audio recording.

Khun Ying Suda argues why she can’t yell at Khun Papit because that woman is trying to steal her husband.

General Arak:’She is not stealing, I went to her! Can’t you stop messing with Papit. Separate people, separate lives, can we do that?’

Suang:’No way, you insulted my mother’s dignity, you place esteem for your mistress in society, and you dare believe her.’

General Arak pointing at his son. ‘Everyday now, you are trying to act like you are my father. How dare you insult me. If you and your mother are not happy, then leave. Leave this house right now!’

His mother refuses to leave but he is leaving.

Photobucket

Suang is kicked out of the house by his father and he leaves. His mother pleads with him to stay. Fight the fight. I would have left.

Kao is front of Suang’s house, a massively huge manison–she understand why her mother left her father, General Arak is wealthy.

Kao moves back with her camera as the gates are opening, Suang is leaving. He sees her and gets out of his car. ‘What is so interesting about this, so meddlesome and annoying, you want news, come with me!’

He drags her into his car. They are going for a drive.

Photobucket

He parks on the side of the road and tells her to come out.

Suang:’Where are you just standing there? Whatever you want to ask me, ask it.’

Kao:’Are you sure, whatever I ask, will you answer it?’

Suang:’Just ask it.’

Kao:’What do you plan to do with Khun Papit?’

Suang:’This is my family’s issue.’

Kao:’Since you said that it means you consider Khun Papit a family member.’

Suang:’That woman is not involve.’

Kao:’But you said it yourself.’

Suang:’I will never accept that money hungry woman as a family member.’

Kao:’That woman, she might really love your father that is why she left her kids and family for him.’

Suang:’Now if my father was not General Arak, just a normal guy, would any woman come? Huh? She wouldn’t bother with my father like she wouldn’t bother with her ex-husband. You never know, she might be swindling my father to support her old family.’

Kao:’If that woman abandoned her family like that, I don’t think she would go back to them.’

Suang:’You can never be too sure. You listen to me well, I will expose that evil woman. Oh, since you got your answer, you can go home on your own.’

He ditches her on the side of the road. As he driving away, he wonders if she will make it home safely. He drives back to check on her. She is not there, she made it home safely to find her father drinking and looking at magazines with her mother on the cover. ‘I was thinking about your mother, if I was talented and skilled, she wouldn’t have left us.’

Kao:’Why are you thinking about her for?’

Kao’s father:’Do you think she will ever come back to us?’

Kao:’Dad, don’t talk about t things that will never happen. PLEASE!’

Kao’s father:’That’s true, who would want to live with a poor person, with no abilities, no education, with nothing.’

He goes for his bottle of alcohol, she takes it from him. ‘Stop drinking, dad.’

Kao asked about her older brother Kaew, he is not home yet. ‘The nest is cold, who would want to stay here.’

Kao:’If mom was still here, would our nest be warm, when mom is a woman who doesn’t know what enough is.’

Her dad covers his eyes and starts to weep. She consoles him.

Kaew is at club looking for a hook up. He is there with his friend Mot. He refuses to leave until he finds a girl for a one night stand. If he doesn’t find one, his prey will be Mot. She tells him cut it out. She wants to leave. ‘You are thinking all women are prey again.’

Kaew:’I am having fun, she is having fun. I don’t see who is the prey at all.’

Mot:’But the girl probably doesn’t think that way.’

Kaew:’Even my own mother I can’t trust, now about other people? I think you should leave or else you would fall as my prey.’

Kaew feels uncomfortable and leaves him.

Kaew:’Women like to think they are prey but some good guys fall prey to women also.’

Photobucket

Khun  Ying Suda pays a visit to Khun Papit’s residence. They start to argue about the status of their relationship with General Arak–Khun Papit considers herself General Arak’s wife. They argue, it gets really tiring between these two. We learn that Khun Papit is fierce with Khun Ying Suda because Khun Ying Suda in the past organized her kidnapping and tried to have her killed. She was able to escape but made a vow to herself to  never let Khun Ying Suda break her down ever again–emotionally or physically.

Photobucket

Her father is in better moods and brought fresh shrimp from the market to make them breakfast. He even offers to do his children’s laundry for them. Kao declines the offer, Kaew does not. He is chastised by his sister for not declining. As he goes to get his clothes, Parot, their friend comes over with lilies for Kao. She tells him thanks but she doesn’t like flowers.

She is about to leave with Parot, she bids her father goodbye and tells to look after her brother Kaew. He came home late last night, he might fall asleep again. Playfully, Kaew walks downstairs with his laundry and teases his sister: ‘stop acting like my mother.’

The word mother emotionally triggered Kao’s father, he stands emotionally still.

Kao:’I am not mom, P’Kaew.’

The mood completely turns sour.

In the drive way, Parot asked Kao why they can’t forget about their mother.’It’s been 10 years, why are you guys still mad at your mother?’

Kao:’I am not angry, I am sad that I am a child who was abandoned by her mother.’

Parot advises her if she thinks positively, it will emotionally make her not weak.

Kao:’Thank you for the support. But if I have to be strong like that, I don’t want it. The more I see mom happy when my father is struggling, it hurts me more.’

Photobucket

Personally, I think Khun Ying Suda is manipulating her son to get what she wants, she pleads with her son to help her get rid of Khun Papit. Maybe they should talk to her old family to take her back.

Photobucket

He goes to Kao’s house to talk to Kao’s dad Krirk about her mother Papit. Kao comes home to find an unrecognizable car in front of her house. She sees Suang. What is he doing there, it probably has to do with her mother. She calls her father to advise him to not say anything about their family or whatever Suang is asking about. She is reporter he is probably interested in knowing about her she explains. Suang tries to get info about Khun Papit from Kao’s dad Krirk, he tells him nothing. Then two flashy older women came by with food and Suang got all his information he needed from them. As he walking out, he sees Kao at the entrance. Sup.

She stares at him like a frighten lamb. She tries to flee, he catches her by the wrist, and her wallets fall out.

Suang:’Why have you follow me here?’

Kao:’I wasn’t following you. You are the one who is following me.’

Suang:’Don’t start with me.’

Kao:’It’s you who should not mistakenly think of himself too highly. What do you have that I want to know and society wants to see? My work deals with following stars and famous people, definitely not you.’

Suang:’Remember that well so that you don’t have to swallow your saliva when you have to come interview Suang Ariyawat.’

She walks away and he sees her wallet on the ground. He follows her to return the wallet.

Kao:’Why are you following me? You want to be famous? That is why you followed me to be interviewed. Am I right? I once told you the person I want to interview, stick to or stalk, they have to be famous.’

She looks at him up and down. ‘No matter how much I look, it’s definitely not you.’

She turns to walk away, she trips. HAHA.

‘If I am not famous why have you stumble in love with me?’

Say what?

Kao: ‘Stumble in love? Termite mouth, it’s you who has stumbled to love me.’

Suang:’Me? Stumble in love with you?’

Kao:’Yea? If not, why are you following me? I should tell you before you get any hopes.’

She circles him and adds. ‘Your body and face– thin and emaciated, pale and white like a jarred lizard. Not just a boyfriend, I wouldn’t even take you as gik.’

Gik is like someone who is not yet your lover, but someone in between a friend and a lover.

He can’t believe it, he was just trying to return her wallet. Since she insulted him, he is keeping the wallet.

Photobucket

More confrontation between these two. Khun Ying Suda wants the best gem in the shop, Khun Papit she is wearing. If she wants it, she will gladly give it to her, but note it is a used item. Again, Khun Ying Suda demands Khun Papit to stop messing with her husband.

Photobucket

Arriving at work, Kao realized she lost her wallet when she is trying to pay the motorcycle taxi guy. At his office, Suang goes through Kao’s wallet and finds a picture of her as a kid with her mother Papit and her older brother Kaew. ‘Don’t tell me Kanaree, you are Papit’s child?’

Photobucket

Kao is chastised by her boss Ja for not getting the interview with Khun Papit. Her other assignment is not done either. Her boss Ja tells Kao to get the interview no matter what, whatever method is necessary. Her two friends sense something is wrong but Kao tells them nothing. ‘You look really distress.’

‘Just a little issue, it’s nothing, I will handle it.’

Photobucket

Suang thinks about his conversation with Kao a few nights ago on the side of the road, her statement that possibly Khun Papit might love his dad and abandoned her family for him resonate in his mind. By the end, he makes a phone call to find out where Khun Papit is at.

I need to stop reading the spoilers. When it comes to Thai lakorns, spoilers are easy to come by. Spoilers BAD!

There is a part where Kao and Suang are arguing about being stood up. Kao learns that Suang is not a nobody, he is somebody, a person she needs to interview for her newspaper. As she is courting him for an interview, he toys with her, he made her come all the way to his office for an interview but he wasn’t there. He stood her up on purpose, she is livid with him and confronts him at his office building.

She chased after him in the parking lot, calling out his name, he turns around to see who is calling him, and by accident she bumped knocked herself down. He sees that it’s her, he doesn’t give her a time of day and walks to his car–enraged, she blocks the car door.

Kao:’You have no manners, you can’t even apologize.’

Suang:’It’s you who should apologize, you were the one who ran here and bumped into me.’

Kao loses face and agrees to apologize. ‘I can apologize. Now when you made an appointment with me and stood me up what do you call that?’

Suang:’I said I will give you an appointment when you personally come asking for one.’

Kao:’YOU!’

Suang:’You should beg me Kanaree for me to give in for you to go back on your word.’

Kao:’If I have to take back my word, it would be worthwhile, if I got the opportunity to interview you about your father asking your mother for a divorce.’

Oh!

Suang:’Oh that is for your mom to be the number 1 wife and for you to be the mia noi (mistress) in her place ha?’

Kao enraged to the max: ‘Khun (you)! You are so rude!’

Suang strokes his cheeks. ‘Nonetheless I am a rude person, I am just speaking to you straightforwardly. Before you become my father’s new mia noi (mistress), let me enjoy you first.’

Oh hell no, someone is gonna get a slapping. After he said that, he approached Kao a little closer for a kiss.

At some point in this series, he does get kneed by Kao. Good for her.

One of the things I like about this lakorn is the interaction between the son and his father’s mistress, the insults he throws at her, it’s entertaining. He called her a termite queen instead of a real queen–you want to be crowned  a queen, but really you can only be a termite queen. Good times. He sees her game and he out to expose her to save his mother–though his mother is kinda loony.  You feel bad for kids, they are caught in the middle of this war between their mothers.

It’s like over 5,000 words, I did not proofread this.  Enjoy.

Kao has a job to do–being an entertainment reporter getting the scoop and interviews, she is good atit  but when it comes to her mother– interviewing her is not so easily task for our nang’ek Kao. By all means necessary her Editor Ja told her, she must snag the interview with Khun Papit, Kao’s biological mother. Kao stands in front of Khun Papit’s gate, contemplating her next move–to ring the bell or not. She is mentally preparing herself to interview the woman who abandoned her.

Kao:’It’s just work Kao, she has nothing to do with you. Don’t be weak.’

The housemaids see her in the security cameras–they think she is a prostitute sent over to satisfy Khun Arak from Khun Chalem–what!? Khun Papit’s friend Khun Chalem is actually a Mama-san (female pimp, a madam), her beauty salon is a cover for her real profession. WOW.

Khun Papit comes down to see the commotion and recognizes Kao on the screen as the reporter. Khun Papit invites Kao into her home. Kao tries to maintain her cool. Khun Papit takes a good look at Kao and pauses for a long time–like Kao is a person she knows. ‘
Kao:’Is there something strange about me?’
Khun Papit:’No, it’s just that you were quiet.’
Kao compliments Khun Papit on her beautiful home.
Khun Papit:’I don’t like this style for a home, but the general likes it.’
Kao shakingly:’What style do you like then?’
Khun Papit in a somber state:’Before I liked big houses, but when I began to live in one, it’s too big. If there were kids running around, it would be better.’
Kao:’Khun Papit, you want kids?’
Khun Papit:’Yes, I want kids, he also wants kids but we never had one.’
Kao:’A kid who is your child would be very blessed.’
The compliment makes Khun Papit feel uneasy because she knows she has done wrong by her kids.
Khun Papit provides Kao with a drink, a special herbal drink that she made–the pandanus juice (nam bai toei). The drink triggers a memory for Kao of when she was young, her mother made the same drink for her and her brother Kaew–encouraging them to drink the juice–it taste good and healthy better than drinking sodas, she was told.
Kao stares at the drinking and Khun Papit wonders if Kao doesn’t like this type of drink. Kao tells her, she does, her father makes it all the time for her. Khun Papit asked if her mother does that too, Kao lies that she doesn’t have a mother.
A servant brings a slice of cake for Kao and she can’t take any more and decides to abruptly flee.  ’Excuse me, I’m sorry, I am not feeling well.’

Photobucket

Walking home, she has  a flashback of when she was young and wanting cake at a store, her mother told her she would buy the same cake for her on her birthday. Kao is emotionally distraught and crying.

Suang drives by and nearly hits her by accident. Sup jinga.

‘I’m sorry, are you okay?’

The drives her to her street and she thanked him for not hitting her.

Suang:’ So the reason why I drove here was to see you cry?’

Kao:’Then what do you want?’

Suang:’Why were you crying over there?’

Kao smiles tauntingly at him. ‘Aye, you are strange. When you want to cry, you can cry anywhere.’

But not near Khun Papit’s house, he argued. He takes out her wallet from his car. ‘I suspect Papit made you cry. What is it? Papit made you cry didn’t she.’

Kao:’That has nothing to do with you.’

Suang:’But I have the right to suspect you are Papit’s child. If you want your wallet back, you must tell me the truth.’

Kao doesn’t say anything, he takes money from the wallet and hands it her. He drives off as she brings for her wallet back.

Kao:’Oh no, I shouldn’t have put the picture in my wallet, now everyone is in danger.’

Khun Papit remembers a time when she was struggling mother, her husband was neglectful, caring more about other people’s issue than their issues. She remembers a time when Kaew was very ill, vomiting nonstop. Instead of staying home to care for his son and helping his wife out, Kao’s father ditched them to help another man who got into a car accident.

She receives a call from her father and she tells him her son is very ill and instantly her father asked for her husband–he is probably not home, probably caring for other’s people’s problem than his family’s issues, her father accused him. ‘A man like that, how can he lead a family,’ her father yelled.

To the present, Khun Papit says to herself: ‘I must be the worst mother ever, but do you know my children, when I think about when I abandoned you, I really miss you Kaew and Kao.’

Photobucket

Dude, why are you hiding in the bushes? Don’t stalk, it’s not a cool trait but most pra’ek do it. Suang now knows that Kao  is really Khun Papit’s daughter when he sees her enterting Khun Papit’s old house. ’So you are really Papit’s daughter.’

Photobucket

Kao comes home and is snappy with her father who asked about the guy from earlier (Suang).

Kao:’He was probably here about mom.’

Khun Krirk:’So that means he was here to get info to hurt your mom, oh that is a good thing that you called to warn me. If not, I might have said something and unintentionally hurt your mom.’—Dude, she left you. Air out all her dirty secrets. You are too nice.

Kao in her room in tears:’No matter how long time as passed, Dad has never stopped loving mom. Will there ever be a day when mom will miss dad?’–probably not, she hates him because he was  a neglectful husband.

Photobucket

Kao overhears her co-workers Nick and Mae-yom arguing about her mother while listening to a recording of her mother and Khun Ying Suda’s fight from a few days earlier. Mae-yom accused the Khun Papit of taunting Khun Ying Suda with the ‘miss you’ text.  Khun Papit texted Khun Arak first and then received the ‘miss you’ text and then taunted Khun Ying Suda with it. Nick argued Khun Ying Suda is the psycho one who thought too much of the text. ‘She probably texted him to see what movie they should watch and he texted her ‘Miss you ja’, that’s probably how it went.’

Mae-yom doesn’t agree, she thinks Khun Papit is causing all the problems and hurting Khun  Ying Suda.

Mae-yom:’People like that are EVIL.’

After hearing that, Kao can’t bear to go in. ‘How long do you have to endure people insulting your mother Kao?’–I don’t know, for a while I guess. Your mama is kinda shady.

Photobucket

Khun Ying Suda is at Khun Chalem’s salon talking on the phone with her friend, insulting Khun Papit saying that Khun Papit tried to record her acting out and beating her, but she didn’t do it, so the mia noi lost face. Khun Chalem let Khun Papit listened to Khun Ying Suda’s conversation via her phone.

Khun Papit can’t believe what she is hearing, heffer is lying. She did attack her, so Khun Papit decides to upload the video clip of Khun Ying Suda going psycho on her on youtube. Doesn’t this remind you of something—Pinky and Tanya.

Photobucket

Kao is at the office, her boss Ja wants everyone to get all the juice they can about the Khun Ying Suda and Khun Papit scandal—their readers love it. Kao looks down, not wanting to be involve in it. When her boss Ja learns she did not get the interview with Khun Papit, she gives the job to Mae-yom.

Mae-yom is excited and tells Kao: ‘if you don’t want to write about this, I’ll do it. I hate mia nois (mistresses).’

Kao tries to defend them. ‘Why do you hate them? They probably have their reasons.’

Say what?

Mae-yom:’What else is there, other than wanting something that doesn’t belong to you.’

Kao:’Why do you say that? You are a woman too. Why don’t you yell at the guy. This type of issue, both are in the wrong.’

Mae-yom:’The person who is most at fault is the unashamed woman. No matter how much the guy pursued her, if she knows shame, she wouldn’t play along and the issue would end. But the reason it doesn’t end is because of a thing of a mia noi.’

Nick senses tension and tells them to cut it out, why are they arguing about other people?

Photobucket

The clip it out on youtube and getting a lot of attention, Suang learns of it from his colleague Nop. Khun Ying Suda reads the comments with Sook and her other friend.  She is getting trashed badly by Thai netizens calling her old and saying they would choose the mia noi over her any day.

Everyone is trashing her except one magazine–Star In Trend magazine, Kao’s magazine.

Photobucket

Khun Ying Suda decides to use Star In Trend to battle Khun Papit, she goes to find Mae-yom who wrote a piece siding with her and trashing Khun Papit.

She wants Mae-yom to write an article for her, trashing Khun Papit, and she will gladly pay Mae-yom for it.  When Mae-yom refused saying their magazine is a honest magazine, they write the truth, Khun Ying Suda accused Mae-yom and the magazine of plotting against her. They were the one who leaked the video clip, so they can write more trash about her. They accused Mae-yom of being Khun Papit’s people, Mae-yom can’t believe what she is hearing.

These people are NUTSO!

Khun Ying Suda wants to sue her too because she remembers that she was there too when the fight occurred.

Photobucket

Kao and Nick hears the commotion and came over to help Mae-yom. Instantly, Khun Ying Suda recognizes Kao and Nick.

Khun Ying Suda threatens them, if they don’t write a piece trashing Khun Papit, she will sue them. Say what.

Kao:’Sue us for what?’

Khun Ying Suda:’Sue you for getting paid by Khun Papit and leaking the video clip to damage my reputation, that’s what.’

Kao:’If you have proof, then you can sue us. But I believe that everyone in Star in Trend did not do anything incriminating and I also have the right to counter sue you back because what you are doing right now is coercion.’

Khun Ying Suda and her posse can’t believe what they are hearing. They warned Kao they have no idea who she is messing with.

‘You know who I am?’

Kao:’You are Khun Ying Suda, the wife of General Arak who is currently famous for the leaked video clip.’

BURN.

Before she left, Khun Ying Suda accused Kao of being one of Khun Papit’s people and she will sue them. ‘See you in court.’

Kao vows to get them back for degrading her profession accusing her of being someone’s puppet.

Photobucket

Suang gets a call from his dad about his mother going to the ‘Star In Trend’ magazine’s headquarter and causing problems. The dad is embarrassed and tells his son to handle it.

Suang thinks this all Khun Papit’s doing but Khun Nop tells it might not be. They don’t know who leaked the video clip, it might be someone who was there too. Ting! If it wasn’t Khun Papit, he suspects it’s Kanaree (Kao). He gives her a call, she doesn’t recognize the number but picks it up anyways. Sup.

Suang:’What did you do to my mom? You really what to do it, you want to sue that person and this person.’

Kao:’That person, this person, who do you mean? There is nobody until now who I want to sue which is Khun Ying Suda.’

Suang:’That’s right, you work for Papit…no…to say it right would be, you are working for your mother.’

Kao is stunned and uttered in name ‘Suang’ is shock.

Suang:’I probably said something cruel, my father didn’t give your mother enough money, so you suing my mother for more money.’

Kao:’You can only think up something that simple, I want to tell you if I plan to do something, you wouldn’t be able to follow it.’

Suang accused Kao of being deceitful and cunning, just like her mama. ‘Listen to me well, if I am still living, you won’t get any money, not one bill.’

Kao:’You too, you are just like your mother, you think irrationally. The only think on your mind is evilness. You don’t need to be concern about your mother, you need to be concern about yourself. The next person I sue is you.’

She hangs up on him. Tension much. Kao comes back to her desk and vows to get the interview from Khun Papit–she will not hide herself from the gossip anymore. She will confront it–’If I was to now it, I will know it. If I was to see it, I will see it.’

‘The truth is the truth.’

At a purse store, Khun Papit and Khun Chalem are talking about the drama involving the video clip, she receives a phone call from Kao asking for an interview. She refuses to do the interview–whatever  subject it may be, she will not do an interview at this time.

Khun Chalem wonders why she didn’t take up the offer for an interview to trash Khun Ying Suda more, Khun Papit explains it part of her plan—she doesn’t want to do too much, people might talk–there has to be a balance. Too much drama can look bad.

Khun Papit: ‘If you want to play with the media, you have to know how to use the media.’

Photobucket

Khun Papit decides to check herself into the hospital for emotional distress over the scandal. Suang reads the headlines and accuses Kao of planning all of this. ‘So deceitful, this is all your plan Kanaree.’

Kao reads that her mother is in the hospital and is concerned, Nick advises her to go check it out–visit Khun Papit just in case something interesting happens–like Khun Ying Suda attacking KhunPapit with slaps at the hospital.

After hearing that, Kao leaps up to go defend her mom. Outside her office building, Suang is there. Sup.

‘Why are you blocking my way? Move!’

He refuses, blocking her way each move.

“I will not move aside, you are probably in a rush to go to the hospital to warn her someone has caught on.’

Kao:’What are you talking about?’

Suang:’This all part of your plan with your mother, one article is not enough–if you pretend to be ill, more reporters will want an interview, more articles will be written.’

Kao:’Are you crazy? Why do you keep alleging that I am Khun Papit’s daughter.’

Suang:’Alleging?’

He takes out her wallet and opens up it up to show a picture of herself as a child with her mother Khun Papit. ‘Then what is this, who is this with Papit?’

Kao tries to take her wallet back. ‘The woman in the picture is not Khun Papit.’

Suang enraged:’How dare you argue with me, you can clearly see it with your two eyes it’s a picture of Papit.’

Kao yelling:’I told you it’s not a picture of Khun Papit!’

Suang:’It’s not a picture of Papit, but Nudee. Can you deny it that this is not a picture of your mother?’

Kao begs for her wallet back. ‘Please return that to me Khun Suang?’

Hell no.

‘Until you accept that Papit is your mother. Also, if you are  still affirming you are not her daughter, don’t go visit her then because there is no need.’

See ya.

Photobucket

Kao is depressed after the fight with Suang and his warning to not visit Khun Papit. She agrees.

‘That’s right, since I have nothing to do with that woman, I should not bother with her, just get the scoop, that is it Kanaree.’

Khun Papit feels alone and scared at the hospital, she receives a phone call from Khun Chalem, she has a lot of customers and can’t visit. She asked if General Arak visited her yet. ‘No, not yet.’

Khun Chalem:’That’s good, you can talk to your friends first. When they leave, he will come and you can get some private time with him.’

Hanging up, Khun Papit sighs:’Talk to who, no one came to visit. If I was really sick, what would I do.’

She calls General Arak. ‘Sir, I am alone, please come see me.’

Photobucket

Suang takes the picture out of Kao’s wallet. ‘Those two mother and daughter pair they are more dangerous than I thought, especially you Kanaree. No matter how you come at me, I will not surrender. My mother will not be hurt because of you two again.’

The next morning, Suang learns from his distress mother that his father stayed overnight with Khun Papit. Suang tells his mother in the past his father might be at fault but this time, he suspects this time his father has fallen under Khun Papit’s trickery.

‘Papit might not be really sick, she checked herself in the hospital to get sympathy and interest.’

Khun Ying Suda:’Yea, why didn’t I think of that.’—I don’t know, you’re irrational and kinda loony.

Suang:’Mom, I will investigate this myself. I will do everything to expose that woman’s true form. I feel confident dad will not choose a pebble like Papit over a diamond like you mom.’ Barf. Your mama is crazy guy.

Suang goes to visit Khun Papit at the hospital, Kao spots him and takes a picture. She follows him.

Kao:’If anything happens to Khun Papit, you will be the suspect, Khun Suang.’

Photobucket

Suang arrives at Khun Papit’s room to find his dad there. He listens to their conversation–his dad is offering to take Khun Papit to Europe after she gets out of the hospital. Old people. Geez.

‘I will not go anywhere.’

‘Why not? If not Europe, where do you want to go to feel better?’

Khun Papit:’I want leave the hassle.’

General Arak takes her hand and vows to protect her from Khun Ying Suda, Suang hears everything and tilts his head. Say what dad?

Khun Papit:’These past 10 years, I know it will never happen. What I do know is that I have to leave you, sir.’

General Arak:’NO, I will not let you go.’

She takes his hand and places it near her face. ‘Let me go, if I wasn’t around, there wouldn’t be any problems between you and her.’

In with the fake tears. In the background, Suang is slowly nodding his head with annoyance, gosh this deceitful woman he is probably thinking.

General Arak:’If there wasn’t you, she would still cause problems for me. I beg of you, please don’t leave me.’

Khun Papit:’But I have made my decision. Please leave me alone ka.’

He tells her he will be back when she is felling better. She told him, don’t bother, she has decided to end their relationship. ‘Do you know, I feel deeply hurt to remove myself from the person I love the most in my life.’–Fake tears again.

Khun Papit turns away from General Arak and Suang slips away. Hiding from his father, he is found by Kao going into Khun Papit’s hospital room. She goes in to listen to their conversation.

Photobucket

Sup.

Khun Papit:’Thank you for visiting me.’

Suang:’You better be sure on what you said to my father.’

Khun Papit:’But you heard it that he is refusing to end it.’

Suang:’I knew it, it’s just a trick to get sympathy from my dad. If you really wanted to end it, you would have sold your house, moved out of the country or completely end all communication with him. Just that, it would end it. But what you are doing now, this is a game. But sorry, this game you will not win, my father will never come back to you Papit.’

Khun Papit:’Really now?’

Suang:’Everyone who is overly confident with themselves, they fell off their high horses and died.’

He leaves.

Khun Papit:’Every rule has its exceptions and I am one those.’

Photobucket

Kao runs up to Suang as he is leaving. ‘What you have done, it’s not very gentleman-like.’

Suang:’I knew it, I wasn’t wrong, you would come here.’

Kao defends herself. ‘I am a reporter, I came her for my work.’

Suang:’That’s right, you came here to see if your work has succeeded. The mom ends it so that the daughter will take her place as the new prostitute.’ –That was harsh.

Kao:’Wicked. All you think about is wickedness.’

Suang:”That’s right I am wicked But I am evil to protect my mother different from you guys who are evil because you want something that don’t belong to you.’

Kao drives to her mother’s house and looks around at the beautiful residence. ‘Because of this mom, you allow yourself to be insulted, without dignity, but right now it’s not only you mom, it has fallen to me. I  have been criticized as being wicked too.’

Photobucket

Khun Ying Suda and Sook plot to taunt Khun Papit. A coffin is sent to Khun Papit, causing her to be deeply upset. She faints and General Arak came by to console her.

She plays it up. ‘I don’t understand it, I live modesty in my own corner, KhunYing is still upset and have caused you to be upset. I have to leave when I really loved you, I don’t understand why she has done this to me.’—cause you are the mia noi.

General Arak apologizes to Khun Papit.

Khun Papit:’What does she want me to do? To die and leave this earth?’–Yea.

Genearl Arak assures her he will handle it. ‘I promise this will never happen to you again.’

Later that day, General Arak confronts his wife Khun Ying Suda. Before he was thinking about ending it with Papit and being with her. After the coffin incident, he now knows he made the wrong decision. Khun Ying Suda said she didn’t do it, she has no idea what he is talking about. He told her to stop pretending like a 16 year old. He is through with her starting today.

Khun Ying Suda didn’t do it and wonders if Sook did it. Sook said she didn’t send the coffin–that kind of stuff scares her. Who did it?

Since Sook didn’t do it, it must be Khun Papit. She sent the coffin to herself to get sympathy, part of her act. Khun Ying Suda walks out to her son crying. ‘I am going to kill her.’

She relays the story to her son on how Papit sent herself a coffin and blamed it all on her. Now her husband is leaving her because of it. ‘Your dad blames me and asked to break up to be with her. I am going to kill her.’

Suang tells his mother to stop. Khun Ying Suda begs her son to convince her husband to not leave her and that she didn’t do it. He hugs his mom. Tough situation.

Suang calls Kao. ‘Hey Kanaree, I once told you, if my mother is hurt, you will hurt more. The coffin that your mother sent to herself, she will definitely use it. You can follow me to collect your mother’s corpse.’

Photobucket

Time for the confrontation between Suang and his father’s mistress.

Khun Papit:’If you came to see him, he is not here.’

Suang:’That’s good. I can meet your demands without my father interfering.’

Khun Papit doesn’t understand what he means. ‘What are you talking about?’

He approaches her as she steps back. ‘Since you brought yourself a coffin, I will make you use.’

He drags her by the hand and she orders him to let her go.

Suang:’You brought yourself a coffin and blamed it on my mother.’

Khun Papit:’Because Khun Ying is your mother that is why you believe her.’

Khun Papit:’I am not that crazy. I am wrong that I came after, but the person who came after can hurt too, you know.’

Suang:’Let quickly LEAVE! Then you won’t get hurt. In the past, no one asked for you, you toiled your way  here.’

Photobucket

Suang looks around. ‘But I have to say, it’s worthwhile because all this wealth, a person like you, this life or next will never be able to earn it.’

Khun Papit:’KHUN SUANG!’

Suang:’What? What did I say wrong? Is it not because of all this wealth that you have abandoned all your dignity to become my father’s mistress.’

Kao listens in as Suang insults her mother.

Suang:’You are pretendingwith your collar upright to be the queen, but a person like you can only be termite queen Papit!’

Photobucket

Kao can’t take this anymore and runs up to intervene. ‘Stop it right now Khun Suang, stop insulting other people.’

Suang pointing at Khun Papit:’Insulting? Who am I insulting when that woman did it to herself. A woman who abandoned her husband and children to be a mia noi (mistress), what’s so respectable about that? If I was this woman’s child, I would not even look for anyone to blame, I would burrow my face in the ground and not be able to face anyone.’

Khun Papit faints and Suang glares at her with no sympathy.

‘I don’t talk to people who are dead, throw her in the coffin. Don’t keep it, it’s ugly to look at.’

See ya.

Kao hugs her mother, she cares for her–wiping her mother’s face with a wet towel. Khun Papit wakes to find Kao.

She asked for Kao’s name, she lies that it’s Gaang. Khun Papit begged Kao to not write about this for her magazine. Kao argues if she did, Khun Papit will get a lot sympathy from the readers.

‘People would know you are the unfortunate second household.’

Khun Papit:’I understand Khun Suang.”

Kao:’I don’t understand your reasoning, I would never let anyone insult me like that.’

Khun Papit:’People who are given the change to walk and progress…they will never go back. No matter what spikes are head, they move forward.’

Kao:’You can endure it…but have you thought about your children, right now they  might be like what Khun Suang said ashamed that they have buried their face under ground.’

She quickly leaves.

Photobucket

Parked at the edge of the river in their own world, Kao and Suang pondered about what had transpired.

Kao:’Nonetheless mom choose the easy life when her easy life is under the pit of fire.’

Photobucket

Kao needs to get an interview from Suang, he gives her a hard time, telling her to come by to set an appointment. When she arrives, he tells his secretary to pretend he left.

Photobucket

As she is leaving, her boss Ja phones her to see if she got the interview from Suang, she needs to snag this interview because she got the news that Khun Arak has asked Khun Ying Suda for a divorce.

General Arak texted his wife for a divorce. His wife immediately calls Suang.

‘Suang, you have to help me. Your dad is asking me for a divorce via a text message.’

Photobucket

Kao bumps into Suang in the parking garage, she has been calling his name but he refuses to respond to her.

Kao:’You have no manners, you can’t even apologize.’

Suang:’ Apologize for what, it’s you who should apologize, you were the one who ran here and bumped into me.’

Kao agrees: ‘I can apologize. Now when you made an appointment with me for an interview and stood me up what do you call that?’

Suang:’When did I give you an appointment, I only said for you to ask one from me.’

Kao:’YOU!’

Suang:’You should beg me Kanaree for me to give in for you to go back on your word.’

Kao:’If I have to take back my word, it would be worthwhile, if I got the opportunity to interview you about your father asking your mother for a divorce.’

Suang:’Oh that is for your mom to be the number 1 wife and for you to be the mia noi (mistress) in her place ha?’

Kao slaps him: ‘You are so rude!’

Suang. ‘Nonetheless I am the rude person. I want to speak to your straightforwardly.’

He looks her up and down.

‘Before you become my father’s new mia noi (mistress), let me enjoy you first.’

He goes in for the wtf force kiss. The hell. So ugly. So fake. She slaps him. Ha.

Enraged, he drags her into his car. I don’t get this part, how the hey can she not escape?

Photobucket

They go on a fast drive and they fight over the steering wheel. ‘Hey do you want to die?’

Kao:’Better to die than be with you. Stop the car.’

Photobucket

He stops the car. ‘You are only good at bullying woman.’

She unbuckles her seat belt and he stops her. ‘You can’t go anywhere yet.’

Kao:’What are you gonna do to me?’

He holds her face up. ‘What do you think I am gonna do to you? Know this well, I don’t like you at all. I am repulse by you.’—you won’t be annoyed too long Mr.Pra’ek.

She stares at him.

Suang:’Why are you staring at me. You are probably disappointed, this didn’t go according to your plan.’

Kao:’What plan?’

Suang:’To enrage me, to make me angry, to pull you in as my wife, in the end you would blackmail me and demand things from me.’—Say what?

Slap.

Kao:’I am just doing things befitting for you. I will never let my father divorce my mother. A person like your mother in this lifetime can only be a kept wife, a prostitute–only that.’

Photobucket

Kao steps out of the car in tears. Suang watches her run off. She arrives home in tears and lies to her brother nothing is wrong. Her fathers think she is probably having boy problems.

Sorta.

Alone in her room, she repeats to herself, she hates Suang!

PhotobucketBack at home, Suang wonders to himself how he could have done that. But regardless, he believes he did nothing wrong. Kao is like her mother, she won’t wear away. He should only be  concern about his mother. No one else.

Suang’s mother is weeping in the living room, she shows him the text from his father. His father is asking for a divorce and his freedom. Suang suspect it might not be from his father, maybe Papit sent it like how she leaked the clip.

Photobucket

Suang wants his father to reconcile with his mother–he blames the leaked video clip on Papit and accused her of sending the divorce text message.

General Arak:’I sent the text Suang. I sent the message to your mother myself.’

No way.

General Arak wants his son to feel sorry for Papit, she is a pitiful person who needs sympathy. The bad person is his mother. Suang asked who has made his mother sinister. Isn’t it his father and Papit, he asked.

Suang:’A woman who abandons her children, her husband to find wealth and comfort, how is she a pitiful person needing of sympathy. That woman can not compare to the pinky nail of my mother.’

General Arak:’ That woman does not yell at me, she respects me, she cares for me, gives in to me. She worries for me and most importantly she understands me. Your mother who is good is only good at crying out demands for herself.’

Suang:’Mom is not crying demands for herself, she is doing it for me. She is crying out for our family to be like before. A family that does not include that woman.’

It ends like that.

Fai Marn is frustrating, I don’t understand her character at all, is she a good mother who misses her kids or a terrible mother who is trying to bring another life into this world to keep a rich married man. Episode 1 and 2, the story wanted us to pity her, she was still a good woman tormented by her decision to abandon her kids–now I am not so sure.

Episode 3 was the same old, just downright frustrating. Show, you better improve or else I’ll stop watching you.

Suang needs to stop stalking Kao, he is at her house again, eavesdropping on her family conversation from the gate. They are talking about Khun Papit, Kao tells her brother and father, her mtoher  is being mistreated, being treated less than a human.

At the same time, Khun Papit arrives at the gate of the house and is confronted by Suang. Khun Papit misses her kids and wants to see them.  Suang threatens Khun Papit and she leaves.

Back with Kao and her family, they continue to talk about Khun Papit, Kaew (her brother) doesn’t understand why she went to see their mother. Kaew accuses Kao of wanting to live with their mother in luxury and the easy life. Kao counter argues their mother’s life is not all that great. She is being abused by Khun  Ying Suda and her son Suang. Their mother has no one to turn too. Kaew said she does, it’s her lover General Arak. Kao explains he is a married man who only comes to her when he wants to. Their father wants to bring their mother back–take her from the drama, Kaew was not having none of this. ‘If she wanted to come back, she would have come back a long time ago. She has never thought about coming back.’

Dad:’Don’t blame your mom. If I was a better man…’

Kaew doesn’t want their mother to come back—the three of them is enough of a family for him. They have a group hug.

Suang hears everything, he understands. He approached her at her job, she is terrified and tells him:’don’t do anything to me.’

She runs away, he chases after to her to apologize. ‘What is the matter with you?’

Kao:’To be near a perverted person like you, I have to be careful.’

He tries to get closer to her, she kicks him in the nads for protection. ‘I kick, you kiss me, if you can then do it.’

She starts to walk off, he grabs her. ‘Please don’t do anything to me.’

Suang:’If I really wanted to do it, I can do it. Will you come with me nicely or…’

He leans in for a kiss. She agrees to go with him. Errrr…so annoying. He’s a brute.

Photobucket

Suang takes Kao for drinks to end their drama. ‘Hey you, I have thought about it, the issue between you and I, lets end it.’

Kao:’How will it end when I was not the one who started it.’

Suang:’Your mom…’

Kao:’Hey you! You can only blame others but not yourself, how can this end?’

Suang:’But I didn’t do anything’—he has the nerve to say that.

Kao:’Well your dad.’

Suang:’Aw, hey you. I cam here to talk to you nicely, why do you have to throw a tantrum?’

Kao:’Who is throwing a tantrum and who is the one bringing up my mother first. Huh? You came at me yelling and asking to end it. Now if I was the one yelling and asking you stop it, will you end it?’

Suang:’I would not yet because you are just using your emotions, bringing up nonsensical stuff.’

Kao:’Oh so that means what you said was all good but what I said was all bad, I have a headache speaking to you…pointless.’

She picks up her bag to leave, he tries to stop her.

Alone he asked: ‘I wanted to apologize, what more do you want Kanaree?’

In her taxi, Kao can’t believe she endure his verbal abuse at the cafe. He follows her home. DUDE, stop stalking. I know you like her but stop stalking. He watches her house from his car.

Photobucket

Suang wants his father to reconcile with his mother. ‘I want you give my mother an opportunity.’

General Arak:’I have given you mother enough opportunities. You probably don’t know what your mother has done to Papit.’

Suang:’But you ought to know why she does it. I won’t blame who is right or wrong because everyone is hurting not only you, me, and mom, even Papit..and he family.’

General Arak turns around to look at his son.

Suang:’Today I saw Papit visiting her family’s house and I saw her family emotionally suffering. Dad give mom an opportunity and rebuild our family and Papit can go back to her family.’

General Arak:’Did your mom tell you to tell me and did Papit tell you she wants to leave me?’

Suang:’No one told me. Everything I am saying is the right way.’

General Arak:’The right way is my contentment and my contentment is being with Papit not with your mother.’ —what a great dad. Like seriously! He is so selfish.

Photobucket

Sook gets a call from Khun Ying Suda telling her that General Arak has her for a divorce. After the phone call, Sook insults Papit and Kanaree for reporting on the gossip–she insults Kanaree by saying she is a future mia noi. ‘If not, she wouldn’t help Papit to this extent.’

Kaew is at the other table hearing everything. ‘ The person who is speaking is a future mia noi (mistress).’

Say what.

‘Who are you, why are insulting me?’

Kaew:’Speaking thoughtlessly and insulting other people like that, no one will make you a wedded wife, at most you will be a mia noi (mistress), a kept woman.’

He looks her up and down: ‘if not, a one night wife.’–one night stand.

She throws water at him, before he could do anything, Mali pulls him back.

She gives him a warning. ‘It’s best you don’t have an issue with me.’

Kaew:’it’s probably like that, they say when a dog barks, don’t response because another dog will appear.’

Yep, Sook sends her goonies to beat Kaew up.

Photobucket

General Arak warns Khun Papit to not contact her old family again. From the start of their relationship, he has forbidden her to see her kids. She tells him, she misses them. But if she wants to be with him, she can’t see them. So she makes a bargain with him and turns her phone on to call Khun  Ying Suda, lets have a child so I won’t miss my older kids anymore. Say what. This woman.

He agrees. ‘If we have a kid together, you won’t leave me right?’

Khun Papit:’If we have a child together, I won’t leave you.’–vomit!

After General Arak leaves, Khun Papit receives a phone call from Sook pretending to be General Arak’s other mistress. Khun Papit catches on and asked her if she is really General Arak’s new lover, why doesn’t she have his personal number. Why call her?

Sook:’I was afraid you would use trickery to make him not leave.’

Khun Papit:’Lets just say that is my charm that make him inescapable from me. Since you shamelessly called to ask, I sympathize from where you are coming from.’

Khun Papit insulted Sook some more and hung up.

Photobucket

After the father leaves, the son comes in. Suang heard everything and claps as he approaches her.

‘No wonder, you know a man’s heart like this, my father can’t leave you.’

Khun Papit:’Including you too Khun Suang since you have come to visit me often.’—EW! This woman. Why would you say that?

Suang:’Don’t say disgusting things, I am repulse by it.’–ME TOO!

Khun Papit:’Then don’t come here, the dad leaves, the son comes in, how do you want me to understand that.’—-ew again. STOP, I am gonna vomit.

Suang:’You are probably very happy like this, but from what I see you, your kids, your ex-husband, no one is happy. ‘

Khun Papit tells him to hush up and stop interfering with her business. ‘If not, I will take it as you being possessive of me.’

Suang is repulse by her response. “I don’t know what else to say to you.’

He leaves.

Later that night, Khun Papit is preparing dinner with her friend Khun Chalem, they laugh about what transpired earlier in the day. Khun Chalem warns Khun Papit, Suang will be more meddlesome when she has a kid with General Arak  because his inheritance will be split in half.

PhotobucketSuang is out for drinks with Sook, she tells him he can’t stay still regarding this issue with Khun Papit wanting a kid. They need to quickly get marry and have a kid. He was like what…lol

Sook:’We should quickly get marry, have a kid, beat Khun Papit–the grandfather will adore our child, be mesmerized by our child and give our child all his inheritance.’

Suang:’That’s nonsense!’

Sook:’How is that nonsense? People who get marry have kids, it’s a normal thing to have an heir.’

Suang:’But I have never thought about getting married to you.’

Say what. LOL–laughing out loud.

Suang:’In the past, I have only thought of you as a friend. I hope you understand.’

See ya. I don’t think she understands.

Just at the other table, Kaew is there and is laughing at her. She doesn’t understand him, they don’t even know each other and he is all up in her busineess. He tells her who he is, Kao’s brother. If she ever tries anything with his little sister, she is gonna get it.

The next day, approaching dawn, Kao is heading off to work, Suang waits for her outside her house. STALKER. She tries to flee, he runs up to her. Kao: ‘Don’t you have work to do?’

Apparently not. She tries to move pass him. ‘Don’t think you can use the same maneuver with me?’

‘What maneuver/strategy? Slap or kiss?’

Kao:’You probably like me huh.’

He doesn’t deny it. ‘Probably.’

She can’t believe he said that.

Suang:’You’re so excited, your body is pulsating huh?’

Kao:’Don’t tease me like that. I am not a hard tenon chicken, you will get hurt.’

Suang:’I want to know how much it will hurt.’

As they are talking, Parot interrupts them. ‘What’s up Kao.’

He looks at Suang: ‘if you have problem talk to me about it.’

Suang:’Are you sure you want me to talk about our issue?’

The kiss. No and she pulls Parot away. Kao explains the whole situation regarding Suang to Parot in the car. He is accusing her of conspiring with her mother to steal from his father. Parot wonders why she cares, she tells him she doesn’t care. ‘But your eyes tell me you care.’

Kao:’I have been a person who has been criticized for being a mistress’s daughter, a bad person. Though I don’t care, I do hurt.’

Kao does not want to do the interview with Suang, Mae-yom goes in her place. Suang doesn’t want to do the interview either, Khun Nop his colleague decides to go in his place out of respect. Khun Nop explains to Mae-yom, Suang is acting strange because most of the time, he is a good guy with a sweet personality–but with Kao, he is like a different person. Mae-Yom is concerned about Kao, if she doesn’t get the interview with Suang, Kao might lose her job.

Back at his desk, Suang has all sorts of thoughts about the interview–why it is taking so long? He now thinks Kao has seduced Khun Nop when she didn’t even go to the interview.

Photobucket

Stalker, Suang approached Kao in front of her house. ‘You came home late.’

Kao:’That is none of your business.’

Suang:’It is not, but I have to get involve. ‘—No you don’t. You are making excuses to see her.

Suang:’You are hurting another person’s family.’–say what.

Kao:’Whose family?’

Suang:’The person you went with today. I want you to know, P’Nop has a family–a wife and kids. Other than you who wants to be his mia noi (mistress) because you have your mother’s personality.’–Oh my gosh, hush up. She didn’t go.

Kao slapped him.

Suang declares he will never let her ruin another person’s family, he marks his territory on Kao with a force kiss—so fake. Someone sees them.

Kao pushes him off and runs into the house. In her room, she punches her bed. ‘I hate you Khun Suang, I hate you. In this lifetime, I hope we never meet again.’–sorry gal, he’s your pra’ek, no way of escaping that fool.

She wipes his kiss from her mouth. Yea it doesn’t go away. Back in his room, He wonders to himself, what has he done. He looks at his phone. ‘If I call her, what do I say? I apologize, I’m sorry. That’s not right, my intentions was to do that. Maybe I should call her to tell her, I apologize, I meant to do that.’–say what. Oy this guy.

He decides not to call, he doesn’t want to get yell at.

Photobucket

Khun Ying Suda begs her husband to stay. ‘Are we really getting a divorce? Please don’t leave me or our son. I apologize for not being good to you, for not paying attention to you, for not respecting you, but right now, I am asking you for an opportunity to do better. I can’t live without you. Really I can’t.’

She hugs him. “Love me.’

‘You can do whatever, you can also be with Papit or have 10 more mistresses, I won’t say a thing.I am asking for one thing, don’t leave me. Don’t leave me.’—Ew…she is looking quite pathetic right now. Leave him.

‘Please don’t cry, okay I won’t leave you. We will not talk about this again.’

He hugs her and she gives an evil smile. Oh no. From the stairs, Suang watches them.

Alone in her room, Khun Ying Suda picks up a picture of her husband and says. ‘I will not lose to Papit.’—Oh, it’s about competition. I get it.

General Arak calls Papit to tell her the bad news. He is not going to see her. At her jewelry shop, Khun Papit tells her friend Khun Chalem what just happen. Though she is upset he didn’t come, she is not going to nag him about it. Men don’t like to be chased after. The more you chase them, the more they run. Though she is upset, she will not show it. A charm of a woman is weakness and sympathy.

Photobucket

Suang just realized he made a mistake, he learns Mae-Yom was the one who did the interview, not Kao.  Crappers. He accused the wrong person.

Photobucket

Suang decides to visit Kao at her workplace and give her the interview. He did wrong, she needs this interview for her job, he will give her the interview. She is stunned. All is better now.

Photobucket

He was in a bad mood all day thinking she was trying to seduce Khun Nop, he feels better now and waits for her in front of her house again. Dude, you have way too many free time.

Kao sees him and asked: ‘don’t tell me, you have changed your mind.’

Suang:’hm?’

Kao:’Don’t toy with me. I have to work.’

Suang:’I have to work too.’

Kao:’What do you want, just tell me.’

Suang:’Before we do the interview, I want to know what type of questions  you will ask me.’

He smiles at her. ‘Can you talk to me?’

She tells him, everything–from his upbringing to his family.

‘Thoughtfully I don’t want to talk about it. But I know you will ask me.’

Kao:’Are you okay with that?’

Suang:’Are you okay with that? The questions you will ask will get answers that are hurtful to both of us.’

Suang drives her home. ‘Thank you for talking to me as a friend.’

He tells her he came here to apologize about earlier. The force kiss.

Kao:’What if I don’t forgive you?’

He tells her he will do anything for her forgiveness.

Kao:’I ask to punch you in the face.’

As she raised her fist to hit him, he catches it. ‘I am really sorry. The next time, please don’t do this to me again. It’s like you having me ….[kiss you].’

Parot interrupts them before he could finish.

Photobucket

Break it up, what’s going on here. Haha. She walks into her house.

Parot tells Kao to be careful, he has seen her a lot with Khun Suang and wonders if they have something going on. Kao denies it. ‘He is just someone I need interview.’

Parot doesn’t believe her, he tells his father about it. He thinks Suang has a thing for Kao—Ding ding, you are correct young man, you get a sticker!

‘I am a guy like him, I can tell.’

Parot’s dad:’If so, what right do you have to forbid him?’

Parot:’Well I love Kao.’

Parot’s dad:’You only tell me but not her.’

Parot:’I don’t dare because I know her answer. In her eyes, I am just like a brother.’—ouch.

Back at his mansion, Suang is upset about Parot. ‘Whoever that guy is, whatever, my responsibility is doing the interview.’

Suang tells his parents about the interview. His mother thinks it is a good idea, it will erase the bad press they have gotten.

Parot’s dad and General Arak play golf together, Genearl Arak tells Parot’s dad he is concern about the interview on how it will affect his mistress Khun Papit.

Parot’s dad argues he has chosen his family over Khun Papit, why does it matter? General Arak said he hasn’t ended it with Khun Papit. ‘She is a person who knows me and understands me completely.’

Parot’s dad shakes his head. ‘I think you need to think of Suang more. In the future if your son marries and has more than one wife, do you think his family will be happy? I think it would be very difficult to find happiness, just like how it is now.’

For some time, Khun Papit has not gotten a call from General Arak. She decides to call him. She wants to know if he would come to visit him. Whatever he wants to eat, she will make it for him.

Photobucket

Khun Papit calls Kao for an interview at her house at 8pm. Nick and Mae-Yom wonders what this all about.

At a beauty salon, Khun Ying Suda and Khun Papit threw insults at each other to see if General Arak will show at Khun Papit or stay at home with his wife Khun Ying Suda.

Kao arrives at her mother’s house for the interview, Suang calls her to give her ideas for their interview, topics relating to his personal preferences–his favorite band, his special talents. Good grief.

This call is an excuse to talk to her. He wants to see her too. ‘Where are you at, you wanna get together?’

She tells him he is at Khun Papit’s house. Immediately after hearing that, he stands up. ‘Why did you do there?’

Kao:’She wanted me to interview her.’

Suang:’What interview?’

Kao:’Everything that has happened with her.’

Suang:’So you are playing both sides, interviewing us and her.’

Kao:’I was ordered to come here.’

Suang:’You are just making excuses, it was your intention. If not, you would not have interviewed her first.’

He hangs up on her. Well their romance is over.

She tries to call him back. Well dude, calm down, she didn’t lie to you.

Khun Papit has decided not to do the interview because General Arak is not coming for dinner tonight. She got the bad news from his wife.

Khun Papit:’Today I am not doing the interview.’

Kao:’Why  not?’

Khun Papit:’I don’t feel well.’

Kao:’Is there anything wrong with you. Has he come yet?’

Khun Papit:’Hey you! If he made it or not made it, what does that have to do with you? I have told you I don’t feel well.’

Kao:’I was just concern. If he came, you would have someone to care for you. If not, I would stay with you as a friend. But now I understand, you don’t need this. Excuse me, I’m leaving.’

She told you terrible mom.

End of episode.

Fai Marn is struggling

Much like the TV ratings for this series, my interest for it is also dropping by each episode. Episode 1, Fai Marn received a TV ratings of 9.1, then it dropped to 7.9 by the second episode, then yesterday’s episode fell to 6.3 like a Ch3 lakorn.

It is not going anywhere, same old story over and over again covering 4 episodes, that is 360 minutes of deja vu. I have lost interest and decided to drop this lakorn. Since it is a film as it air lakorn from Ch7, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was cut down too.

Even though today’s episode had two intimate scenes that couldn’t hold my interest. I think the mom is pregnant but I am not too sure because I kept fast-forwarding through it. I know Suang told his dad he wouldn’t accept a child from Khun Papit as his sibling. Okay. I know you wouldn’t.

Khun Papit goes to an event at a shopping center where Suang is at to present him with flowers and to inform him that she is pregnant. A few moments later, Suang is having a conversation with his dad about the baby.

He tells his dad Khun Papit came to his event to cause a scene, Dad is giving him excuses that she probably didn’t mean it that way. Suang then proceeds to tell his dad off about the baby.

Suang:’I won’t accept it, dad. No matter how much she announces it, I will not accept that woman’s flesh and blood as my younger sibling.’

As he is repeating to his dad that he won’t accept Khun Papit’s child as his younger sibling, Kao appears.

Suang:’I want to repeat dad, no matter what I will not accept that woman’s flesh and blood.’

Kao:’That woman’s flesh and blood is like what?’

He turns around to see her.

Kao:’Lowly, without value, a poor person like me. But I have dignity and I don’t want to accept the flesh and blood from you [your family] too.’

See ya.

Photobucket
Suang follows Kao home. Stop stalking man. He wants to talk to her to refuses to talk to him. ‘Why do you want to talk to the flesh and blood of a person you hate.’

Yeah guy, she has a good point. Why? Cause you love her, ha?

Kao:’Know this, though she does not accept me as her child, I am her child. I can’t bear to hear you insult my mother because one part of my blood is from my mother.’

He tries to apologize, she runs away from him. I love how the scene changes. She ran far from her street to the river. He chased her for a block??

Photobucket

He catches her in his arm. So pra’ek. She struggles to free herself. ‘Let me go.’

Hell na. ‘Until you listen to me.’

Kao:’What do you want me to listen to. Do you really think I want a sibling too? My dad, my brother, no one wants one. Especially the flesh and blood from you people.’

He turns her around. ‘I told you to stop.’

Kao:’It’s not enough that I am hurting from my mother’s actions. I have to hurt from your words too. I want to ask you, how am I wrong? What have I done wrong?’– I don’t know dude. It’s not you, it’s your momz.

Suang embraces her tighter to console her as she cries.

Suang:’No, No. You did nothing wrong. I was wrong. I apologize.’

Cue in the forehead kiss. The Instinct song ‘Tam Mai Tong Ter (Why you)’  plays in the background as he kisses her forehead.

The first part of the song: ’I don’t want to know, I don’t want to love. I don’t have time to think of or be interested in it. But when I met you, my life changes. I became weak, I don’t like this at all. When I am near you, I feel like I am half-asleep. Not myself at all. When you are far and I try to forget you, I can’t do it. Why am I like this, I don’t understand it.’–Because you are drunk with love buddy.

Photobucket

Then Suang kisses her for reals. Oh Poor Parot, standing behind the bushes seeing everything. Sucks to be you guy, have a sticker and a lollipop. It’s okay!

Photobucket

A few days later, going for the second kiss but she stops him. Suang kidnaps Kao to one of his houses to talk and to assure her that Sook is not his girlfriend. Earlier Kao said she doesn’t want to be his mia noi (mistress) because he already has a owner. He was like what, ‘what mia noi? I don’t even have a wife yet.’ Plus that obnoxious girl who keeps clinging to me, she is not my girlfriend.

Coming up next Saturday September 21st, from Polypus productions, it’s ‘Tawan Tor Sang (The sun weaves light)’ starring ‘Dome’ Pakorn Lum and ‘Mai’ Davika Horne. The teaser just makes me laugh, there is just one part where he tells her: ‘Believe me that I love you.’

At the end, he holds her down on the bed and they go and forth. ‘I hate you. No, you love me.’ She still repeats that she hates him and he goes in for the kiss. And you’re like what the hey, so this lakorn is gonna be intense.

Pra’ek is described as a pitiful man from a broken home. His mother left his father when he was 5 years old and his father passed away of a heartache 2 years later. He doesn’t believe in love because of what his mother did to his father, he only sees women as a plaything. Not until he mets Rasaa our nang’ek does he discover true love.

The theme of this lakorn is ‘the power of love is great that it can open a heart filled with hatred to see the light.’ Ah–wisdom.

If you are watching this lakorn, you would know this lakorn is pretty darn funny especially the Great and Eyeye scenes. Their moments together, these two have a lot of chemistry. They don’t know that they like each other yet, they have been fighting, bickering, teasing each other–the balloon scene marks the beginning of their spark for each other. They are at a temple fair at her hometown, having an amazing time winning prizes. He is in a good mood, he decides to buy her a green balloon not knowing she is afraid of BALLOONS.

The scene starts at the 13:17 time mark:

Have a balloon, there was only one left. Terrified, she refuses it abruptly.

‘I don’t want it.’

He likes nicely: ‘Come on, don’t refuse my kindness.’

He comes closer to her with the balloon and she drops her big pile of teddy bear prizes. ‘I don’t want it.’

He thinks nothing of it and tries again to give her the balloon and she starts to panic. She hides her face behind a teddy bear.

‘Hey you, why do you have to be so shocked?’

As he tries to give her the balloon again, he realizes she is afraid of balloons. Ha. ‘Don’t tell me you are afraid of balloons?’

He squeezes the balloon and rubs on it to make balloon noises, making her more annoyed and terrified.

‘Please stop, don’t make these noises.’

He can’t believe his ears, she is afraid of balloons. ‘Are you crazy? You are really afraid of balloons. A woman like you, a brazen woman, you’re not a afraid of geckos, not afraid of frogs, not afraid of ghosts, not afraid of anything, but you’re afraid of balloons.’ HA.This is fun coming to a guy who fainted at the sight of a gecko in the bathroom and frogs terrify him.

He points the balloon at her face and rubs it harder. She tells him to stop and he chases after her with the balloon. ‘This noise does it cause pain in your ear?’ He continues to rub on the balloon faster and she jumps on him to get the balloon.

Photobucket

And we get this scene, her arms around his neck. The theme song plays in the background and they freeze– staring at each other, being in that moment.  So engrossed by her, he unknowing releases the balloon.

Photobucket

The little spirit girl is amused by this and sings a little tone. ‘I look at you girl, I look because you are beautiful. If you were not, I would not look. If you were not beaming, I would not stare. I would not look to make my heart throb.’ She kisses the white teddy bear.

Photobucket

Awkward moment, she pushes him back, he says nothing because this is awkward for him too. She broke the awkwardness by threatening him: ‘If you tease me with the balloon again, you will definitely get hurt.’

Whaaat? That’s freaking long when you consider a Ch3 and Ch7 prime time lakorn is 90 minutes per episode.  If this was a Korean series, it would be roughly 40 episodes.  Mark Prin and Kimberly Woltemas’s romantic comedy ‘Panya Chon Kon Krua (The Kitchen Scholar)’ produced by Anne Thongprasom airs after The Sixth Sense on October 19, 2012. We have 6 more episodes to go, they need to get to the point.

The bickering has ceased, the romance has begun. We have reached a point  in this lakorn where the leading men are making their intentions known to their lady love–one confessed he wants to protect his love for the rest of his life. Another professed his love while fighting with a smothering ex-lover–I don’t love you anymore please stop bothering me, I love someone else. The third jokingly vowed to make his  love his wife–though she took it as a joke, in all seriousness, he meant it.

Photobucket

Firstly, we will start off with Yanin played by ‘Ja’ Jitapa Jampratom and Din played by Louis Scott, the couple had been going a rough patch when Din was put under a love spell by Penny. He had been acting foolishly by making poor business decisions and just being downright crazy toward hers. She helped break the spell with the help of her friends but he pretended he was still under the love spell to  trick Penny and her family to get the deed to his land back. As he is tricking Penny and her family, Yanin leaves him with her devoted servant/nanny on a transport tuk tuk. Din makes the driver pretend to break down to stall Yanin from leaving until he resolve his issue with Penny. Night falls and the driver is still fixing the ‘broken’ down tuk tuk to stall Yanin from leaving.

Din arrives and Yanin walks away from him. The nanny pushes Din back to stop him from following after her, she had witnessed what he did to Yanin while he was under the spell and did not believe he had changed. The little spirit child ‘Golden Baby’ held her back to let Din passed and we get this scene of Din confessing his love for Yanin or Nin.

He came over to apologize to her for all the emotional abuse he put her through. ‘Are you still made at me?’ He asked her.

Her answer surprised him. ‘I don’t know. I am not angry at you. I think I am happy.’

Din: Happy?

She nods ‘yes’.

‘I am happy you are back to your old self.’

Din:’You have done so much for me. I can’t think… how I will live without you. Please stay here with me.’

A moment of romantic pause. He takes her hand.

Din:’I promise to take care of you, to cherish you, and I will never hurt you like this ever again. I will protect you with my LIFE…like what you did with me.’

Flutters. HUG!

In his embrace, she tells him. ‘Don’t say this in front of other people.’

Din:’Why not?’

‘They might think I put you under a spell, ‘ she giggles.

Nin and Din scene starts at the 6:50 time mark

He tells Nate nothing is growing on with Peach, he sees her only as a friend and he is just there for Peach because her father who happens to be his former teacher is dying. Obviously Peach wants more than what Doctor Wat can offer. She even crushes the party and interrupts his conversation with Nate. When Peach pretends to faint with a headache onto Doctor Wat’s arm, Nate has had enough and leaves them to find the ghost Baimon.

Doctor Wat follows after Nate and she hides behind a layered stone wall to avoid him. Peach soon follows him. When he hears her, he is absolutely annoyed. Just look at his face. ‘Why did you follow me?’

Peach tells him she wants to go home, can he drive her home. He tells her to wait a moment, he has to talk to Nate first, to clear up their problem first. ‘I purposely came to Pattaya to clear it with Khun Nate, but I haven’t even talked to her yet.’

Peach is exasperated, like seriously, that little girl is better than me. Like with a stern tone, she tells him she wants to go home NOW.

Photobucket

Doctor Wat is exasperated too, he turns around to tell her off. ‘You have energy now, why don’t you just drive yourself home.’–Yeah! You tell her mister.

He turns to walk away from her and she pulls him back. ‘What is so special about that young girl that you are so interested in her? What about me? Don’t you care about me anymore?’–um not any more lady. Stop acting pathetic.

Doctor Wat:’I CARE for you but only as a friend.’

He pulls her hand off.

Peach:’That is not true. We are not friends. I love you. I know you have never forgotten about me. We love each other very much. Always loved each other.’

He was like lady what the who. ‘Peach, the woman who I love right now, there is only one woman. It’s Khun Nate.’

In your face. Did you hear that Nate?

Photobucket

Even though he said all of that, she still doesn’t believe it. Like what more can he say. Like dude, he doesn’t like you. Stop acting crazy.

‘You can’t abandon me. I have no one else now.’ Peach says all of this while gripping his arm tight. He tries to pull her off  and accidentally spun her to a wooden wall–the other side of Nate’s hiding space.

Sup.

Nate apologizes. ‘I am sorry, I didn’t mean to eavesdrops.’

She heard everything. Before they can have a good talk, the ghost  Baimon appears and Nate follows her.

Rot and Trirat, this couple is doing okay. His family now hates her but he likes her. His ex-girlfriend Kitty is moving in because his mother has gone crazy because of the witch doctor Mor Somkit.

Kitty is obnoxious, he knows it, Rot knows it. She is making her move on him, he knows it. He is just trying not to be rude.

Rot is pretty upset that Kitty is moving in, Trirat follows her to explain things. It’s not what it seems.

Trirat:’Are you angry with me?’

Rot:’Angry? Do you think your business is that important to me? My concerns are for Mor Somkit and your Ma–not the issue of you and your ex-girlfriend.’–sure. Keep saying that. No one believes you.

He doesn’t buy it. ‘Hmmm…Really?’

She tells him, she smells something rotten and fishy here–not his usual home spell. Rot has the sixth sense of smell–she can sniff out supernatural things. ‘When I came here, I smelled something strange, a rotten smell–not your usual house smell. I don’t know what it is.’

She suspects something is amiss and it has to do with Mor Somkit. She is sure of it.

Trirat:’If that is true, you have to help me.’

Rot:’I made a promise, I won’t go back on it.’

He smiles and thanks her.

Photobucket

With a big grin he tells her. ‘Thank you so much, when this issue is resolved I will talk to my Ma and Pa about our wedding (he does the quote, freaking hilarious).’

She is flabbergasted and embarrassed.

Trirat toys with her: ‘What? I still remember we did it (had sex) and I will take responsibility for you by marrying you and I will make you my wife.’

He playfully shakes her shoulders when he said ‘wife.’

HAHA. They never did it. People just think they did it, even Rot doesn’t know. She was attacked by a ghost, lose consciousness–he was just there witnessing the whole thing of her acting bizarre and ripping her red sweater. He didn’t see the ghost. He helped her up, took her to a hotel room, changed her out of her wet clothes and slept on the same bed with her. The next morning, when she woke up, she accused him of assaulting her. It was pretty funny watching her falsely accuse him and beating him with kicks and punches.

Photobucket

This couple…so funny. Though it was a tease, deep down he meant it sincerely. He wants to marry Rot.

[An Old pic of the couple]

Thai-Danish actress ‘Rita’ Sririta Jensen said she spent Valentine’s Day having dinner with her family from Denmakr, and her boyfriend, rapper Khanngoen “Khan” Nuanual of the Thai rap group Thaitanium. That’s nice. Rita said she planned the whole thing and had a lovely time with her family and Khan.

‘This pass Valentine’s day I went on a boat on the Chao Phraya river ka. There was my family who just came from Denmark, my mother and my mother’s friend and also Khan. I planned this whole trip. They just arrived and I took them out to dinner. It was very romantic. They were very pleased ka.’

For Valentine’s Day, Rita’s boyfriend Khan did surprise her with flowers and a gift but she did not disclose what he gave her. Her family has met Khan and they all love him, said Rita.

When asked if he told her he loved her on Valentine’s day, she said yes with a shy smile. There was some of that, just a little, she said. They are getting serious. Rita should be happy, her currently airing lakorn ‘Manee Sawad’ is doing very well for a Ch3 lakorn.

Just when people are debating about Nadech and Anne Thongprasom, here comes a new lakorn starring Ploy Chermarn as the older woman who falls for the younger guy in Mario Maurer for the lakorn  ’Madame Dun’, a romantic comedy from Broadcast Thai Television.

Ploy is playing an ambitious talent agent slash manager whose main goal is to make her client a SUPERSTAR, she is like the girl version of  ’A’ Supachai Sriwichit, the man who manages all the big stars in Thailand from Nadech Kugimiya to Mario Mario to Aum Patcharapa to Mark Prin to a lot of people. Mario is one of Ploy’s clients and her love interest in the series. I am digging this premise, the woman is the care-taker, the dominant one where as the guy is her ball of clay waiting to be mold into a big star.

Sounds like a bitter love story. They fell in love during their university days and then she abruptly leaves him to marry some other guy.

Anne Thongprasom and ‘Tik’ Jesadaporn Pholdee new lakorn is titled ‘Yaa Leum Chan (Don’t forget me)’ and it will be directed by ‘Paa Jaew’ Yuthtana Lopanpaibul, the man who gave us ‘Raeng Prathana (Heated Desires)’. The story starts off with a young couple Suriyawadee (Anne) and Khemmachart (Tik) who fell in love while studying at a university. He gives her a ‘forget me not’ flower ring to represent their eternal love for one another. Then they break up when she abruptly drops out of school without telling him to marry another guy. She had family issues. This leaves him devastated and bitter towards her. He stayed in school, worked really hard to obtain his degree, and was able to build himself up to become a successful businessman. After years of being apart, she comes back into his life as Mrs. Suriyong and his jacked up emotions of anger, hate, grievances, and love for her reemerges. That’s a lot to take in.

This is a remake of ‘Pete’ Puntakarn Thongjure and ‘Ann’ Siriam Pakdeedamrongrit’s lakorn of the same name from 1998.

Pope is the husband in ‘Samee Teetra’

 photo sameeteetra8_zps17154d2a.jpg
Confirmed since January 2013 by producer and renowned actress Anne Thongprasom that she will be doing a remake of her 2001 lakorn ‘Samee Teetra (The Marked Husband)’ with Ploy Chermarn as the lead, Jui Warattaya as the nang’rai (the villain), and ‘Pope’ Thanawat Wattanaputi as Ploy’s husband. These are good choices, well-established talented actors. Anne wants this to be good.

This is an adult lakorn centering around a bratty rich woman (Ploy) who has gone through two failed marriages and one dead husband. She has a two-faced friend (Jui) who has been having an affair with her current husband who eventually dies in a car accident. The friend has been deceiving her for years playing the innocent good girl card. I believe they were friends for 13 years. She eventually finds love again with this phenomenal man (Pope) who sincerely loves her regardless of her past and bratty personality. But the insecurities about trust relating to her past experiences of being cheated on and the appearance of her ex-friend brings turmoil to her current marriage. Her life is heavy with people pecking away at her  to dismantle her happiness. She also got mother-in-law issues too.

Singer/ Actor Dome Pakorn Lum will be working with hot commodity and newly single  Janie Tienposuwan for a Polypus produced lakorn for Ch3. Dome and Janie I have never thought of pairing these two together ever in a series. It’s gonna happen pretty soon, their pairing is set, for what type of lakorn–I don’t know. We will hear more about it soon.

As for her lakorn with Aum Atichart ‘Dao Kiao Duen’ a romantic comedy, it’s roughly 30% done. It’s getting there, soon it will be half way.

And I think we should cheer. Not shaming the main actors, they are doing good by what they are given–the story is like awww…so SLOW and boring. It drags on and on and I can understand why their TV ratings is low. I want to severely like it but I don’t. It’s so sad. I am trying not to fall asleep with every episode. Shaking my head, it’s not working!

Look at the numbers, it’s doing poorly.

Ep 01 (3/15/2013) – 6.5  (10.9,5.7)
Ep 02 (3/16/2013) — 5.5  (8.7,5.0)
Ep 03 (3/17/2013) — 5.8  (9.1,5.3)
Ep 04 (3/22/2013) — first ha1f: 4.5(8.2,3.9) second half: 5.3(9.4,4.6)
Ep 05 (3/23/2013) –4.8  (8.7,4.1)
Ep 06 (3/24/2013) –4.5 (7.4,3.9)

The nang’ek is like lets dress up like a boy so that I can go on an archaeology trip to care for my sick father and Khun Chai Tharathorn will allow it because he has feelings for me but doesn’t know it. Like what is up with these two grown adults who don’t know they like each other. Also, lets dress up his betrothed too as a boy so she can tag along on this trip to get to know Khun Chai Tharathorn better and to make this couple realize they like each other.

It ends this Sunday and the next in line is Part 2 of the Gentleman series, it will follow the love story of the second brother Khun Chai Pawornruj played by ‘Pope’ Thanawat Wattanaputi as he falls in love with M.J. Ying Vanrasa Arunrut in Switzerland. They use to hate each other as children, he doesn’t remember her at all, she remembers him vividly. Vanrasa or Rasa goes to Switzerland to surprise her fiancee but discovers he has been cheating on her with another woman. Heartbroken she goes to see Khun Chai Pawornruj in Montreux, Switzerland and they on a sightseeing trip together where they fall in love.

Khun Chai Pawornruj will air on April 5th, 2013.

‘Majurat See Nam Pueng’ more teasers

 photo deathoney_zps32a67a76.jpg
Less aggressive, less angry, some romantic scenes–seems like the ‘Jamleuy Ruk (Prisoner of Love)’ of 2013 involving an arranged marriage.

‘Majurat See Nampueng’ is produced by Broadcast Thai production starring Ken Theeradeth and newcomer ‘Namtarn’ Pichukkana Wongsarattanasin as two people who are focused into marriage by their elders. Ken Theeradeth is the roughneck Pat Patmakorn and Namtarn is the dutiful Rojanachanai Witnee who is the adopted daughter of Khun Nai Rampao.

Rojanachanai has a younger bratty sister name Romeruethai Witnee played by ‘Saipan’ Apinya Sakuljaroensuk, who is the biological daughter of Khun Nai Rampao. She also has a boyfriend name Prawut Wuttisak played by Ta Warit. Khun Nai Rampao is good friends with Pat Patmakorn parents and years ago they promised each other if they had kids, they would have them marry each other. Since Romeruethai is the biological daugther of Khun Nai Rampao, this burden falls on her shoulders and she doesn’t like it too much. She doesn’t know the guy but already she has preconceive notion that Pat is a country bumpkin from Sukhothai, probably stupid, probably unfashionable, and she wants no part in this arrange marriage. Romeruethai and her mother Khun Nai Rampao tries to convince Rojanachanai to be the replacement bride for Pat but she refuses because she already has a boyfriend.

As a last resort, Romeruethai rudely tells Rojanachanai, they are not biological sisters, Rojanachanai was adopted by her family–totally guilting her into the arrange marriage. She felt an obligation to pay them back for taking her in, raising her, providing her shelter, being her family, Rojanahanai agrees to go through with the marriage to Pat.

Pat and his family comes down to Bangkok to go through with the marriage and he learns Rojanachanai is not Khun Nai Rampao’s biological daughter, they are marrying him off to the wrong girl. He is livid and thinks Khun Nai Rampao is tricking them to get the money (the dowry, the inheritance, I don’t know). Though he is really upset, he has to go through with the wedding.

Pat is a good looking guy, at this point Romeruethai is regretting her decision to reject their arrange marriage. She can’t believe a guy from the countryside can look that GOOD. She tries to seduce him and he totally ignores her. He takes Rojanachanai back to his home in Sukhothai and they do not get along because he is absolutely horrible to her. He gets better though.

Their relationship started off on the wrong footing and continued to be horrible with misunderstandings generated by interferences from other people, like the shady woman Urarak Jearakul played by Ice Apissada who attempted to pin Pat as the father of her unborn child. When that mess was resolved and Pat was proven not to be the father, Rojanachanai’s sister Romeruethai and her ex-boyfriend Prawut decided to come up to Sukhothai to break  up their marriage.

No, I don’t know when this is coming out.

Teaser 2 is the shorten version of teaser 1.

Teaser 3 is the newer version. He asked her ‘tell me again, what I am like’. She answered ‘a majurat (death personified) ka’. He teases her back, if you say that again, I will kiss you. Ha.

Ken Phupoom is doing a remake of ‘Look Tat (A child of a slave)’

 photo tat_zpsf2354c47.jpg

You know what. I complain a lot of about this, another remake. This is pretty heavy stuff for Ken Phupoom, after seeing his performance in ‘Rang Ngao (Strong shadow)’, I think he can do it playing a slave struggling for freedom during King Chulalongkorn’s reign part of the Chakri dynasty back in the late 1800′s. It was a time when slavery was coming to an end in Thailand, not completely ending servitude to freedom, but in steps. If you were born to household slaves, you would remain a slave forever. Then that changed in 1874, all household slave born in 1867 had their redemption price lowered and were freed when they turned 21.

Kaew in the lakorn ‘Look Tat (A child of a slave)’ was born to household slaves thus he was the forever ‘slave’, his mother was an educated slave and she taught him how to read. At a certain time, he should have gotten his freedom but his creditor (master) refused to free him. The story centers around Kaew, his struggle for freedom and the love he has for Namtip played by ‘Bella’ Ranee Campen, the young noble woman who is the daughter of his master and the heart of his inner strength. Eventually he does obtain his freedom and becomes a nobleman.

My only compliant thus far is the production company producing this lakorn, it’s by TV scene productions. They are changing and evolving as a production company, creating different techniques for filming; however, the pacing for TV scene lakorns is like snail.

A powerful scene from the Fluke version when Khun Namthip punished him and asked him does it hurt. He throws it back at her, ‘why do you ask if it hurts?’

Khun Namthip:”Why do you return that question like that?’

Kaew:’Because no lady master would ask her slave if it hurts when she has punished them. Because everyone believes slaves don’t know how to hurt, don’t know pain, don’t know how to be cold or hot. When you ask, when you ask me why, it is surprising.’

Why did they dub Pope’s english in Khun Chai Pawornruj?

 photo b26d7fb4-5c77-4642-af8a-7bff6fa1b9cf_zps1aa8b1ed.jpg

Like why, it’s freaking hilarious. The music stops, the background sound cease and Pope’s voice is dubbed when he is speaking English in episode 4 of Khun Chai Pawornruj, which by the way is an awesome lakorn. I am having such a major crush on Pope at this moment. He is so GOOD in being Khun Chai Pawornruj and there is a lot of emotional depth in his character–the inferior complex he has with his brothers because he is the son of the housemaid. He is the embodiment of the good guy, you want him to succeed and find true love with Khun Ying Taew.

It’s so good but the dubbing thing is hilarious. Everyone should watch it and say ‘what the hey just happen.’ Is his Thai english accent that thick, you can’t understand it?

Listen to Pope’s dubbed voice at around the 10:25 time mark.
